This was not a simple “missed payment” or “failed direct debit” situation. The alleged outstanding balance changed multiple times first around €5,000–€8,000, then over €13,000, and was later significantly reduced following senior management review and the issuance of multiple credit notes and reversals. Renewal-related charges were overridden, a deposit top-up was credited, and a fit-out invoice was removed due to the absence of a written quotation.
If the matter had truly been as straightforward as described, these substantial corrections would not have been necessary.
These documented adjustments demonstrate that the issue required internal review and was not simple or clear-cut.
Over nearly three months, I received differing explanations from various levels of management — team lead, specialist, manager, and senior management — each presenting different figures and reasoning. This lack of consistency prolonged the process and created unnecessary confusion.
During this period, access to my office was suspended while the account was still under reconciliation. For any business, loss of access during an unresolved billing review represents a serious operational risk.
Based on my experience, if a serious billing dispute arises, be prepared that resolution may require formal escalation and independent legal advice. Internal escalation through management did not provide clarity in my case, and the process became prolonged.
For companies that depend on stable office access and predictable billing, unresolved disputes can create operational disruption. Careful due diligence before signing any agreement is essential.
Businesses should ensure they fully understand the contractual terms and seek independent legal guidance early if significant disputes occur.
I never write public reviews, but due to the complexity and duration of this matter, I sought independent legal advice to better understand my position.
I retain full written documentation , including invoices, payment confirmations, credit notes, and correspondence ,supporting everything stated above.
Other colleagues who are familiar with the full documentation and correspondence relating to this matter may choose to share their own independent perspectives. The issues described were not limited to a single isolated interaction and extended over a prolonged period.
I stand by my documented experience and will update this review once the matter is formally concluded.

IWG's biggest flaw is that rental and billing ultimately have to go through their central admin system, which is buggy and extremely error prone. It causes potentially serious problems, but--in my experience at least--the problems have been mitigated or proactively resolved by the attentive staff at the center and the human being sales representatives I've talked to at the central location.
Aside from that one big flaw--which so far has been made up for by good personal attention from the people checking the automatic system--the experience of renting and working here has been very good. I would recommend it to anybody.
(I'm at the Hayden Ferry Tempe location, which doesn't seem to be on this list, yet.)

I had a great time working at the HQ Lekki office space
Do not deal with these crooks. We signed two leases with the lying rep for Phoenix and Denver offices. After we signed the leases, this scumbag and the company he works for said they would NOT honor the leases unless we rented more offices from them faster then the lease called for or they would not honor them. We will be suing them in small claims here in Las Vegas since we lost two weeks revenue from both offices. We also will be doing a BBB complaint, also the Arizona Department of real estate and the Colorado Division of real estate.
