I want to put in a good word for iWeb
I want to put in a good word for iWeb, who sometimes come in for criticism for their supposedly out-of-date/clunky website.
I have used iWeb for many years along with five others and I find the app-free iWeb the simplest to use. Their Tradeplan feature, which can be used to buy on the dips to give a feeling of control when the chips are down, completely reliable. They are great on the phone too. And when I need to move some cash it doesn't take too long.
Five star service for me.

All round a very good platform.
I have been using iWeb for many years now and have found all their services very efficient. I've just had a webchat with Hafsa to cast a proxy vote and it was handled very well.

Shares in voluntary wind downs
I held the same share with iWeb and Interactive Investor when the company decided to wind themselves up. The company recently just paid their second payment. On 16th Dec, I received the corporate action update from Interactive, and the monies arrived on 18th Dec. As of today, I have received no notifications from iWeb, and am still to receive any money. I really have no idea why IWeb completely took our shares off our portfolios when it was always going to be a managed wind down. As the company held some Russian Assets (Before the invasion of Ukraine), it could be some years before we receive the third and final payment. Not good service from iWeb, and to me and others like me, the shares should be put back on our accounts as we have no proof of ownership.
I can only think that the Corporate action team are snowed under as I recently received notification of another corporate action after the event had finished.
I know I’m only talking about a missing £1200, but I would still prefer it in my account rather than an iWeb suspense account
