Recent cold snap

Recent cold snap pushed the system to it's limits and demonstrated the need for the heater strip. I ordered it on a Tuesday and it arrived on Friday. It was up and running the same day. Don't try to order online after business hours. Total waste of time. I left a voicemail and did not get a call back. I called the next day and got immediate support. Unit arrived in perfect condition with great instructions. Could not have been easier to install. Thanks to everyone at Ingrams! Buy the heat strip and install it when you buy the main unit (even if you don't think you will need it). Cheap insurance it will minimize the need for additional trips to a cold, cramped attic!

As a contractor...

As a contractor ordering materials, especially after Covid, its amazing to know that every single order comes as described, not damaged and earlier than expected! Then the flawless (so far) workings of the 6 or so DIY mini splits we have bought over 2 years!

Thanks foe making my job easy.

I had to return a unit due to damage…

I had to return a unit due to damage that occurred from the shipper. I called customer service and they took care of everything! I live in California, but I chose Ingrams in Kentucky to buy from because they had the best customer service reviews. I’m glad I did.

Our 2017 DIY mini split died

Our 2017 DIY mini split developed a major refrigerant leak. I calculated the cost for potential repair and refrigerant replacement and it made sense to purchase a new system. Ingrams was very helpful in working with me to get a great price. I was able to get a scratch and dent compressor and new air handler at a discount price. It was shipped and I received and installed within a week. All is warm now.

Yes, one could purchase elsewhere but Ingrams goes the extra mile to ensure you have everything to complete a successful install.

From customer service to installation videos to exceptional products, they have it all.

1st installed a 24k unit which went flawless and this current one went even better.

Will purchase another, without hesitation, should the need arise.

Mr. Cool mini split

Needed a 35’ line set for a Mr. Cool 18k unit, but the DIY systems only offer 25’ standard, and requiring purchase of additional lengths. Mr Cool customer service recommended contacting Ingrams for custom packaging. Purchased 35’ line set, new inside console and grade B scratch n dent outside unit for less than the new unit with standard 25’ line set, and not having to purchase additional 35’ line. Shipping was fast and all parts including Grade B outside unit arrived in perfect functional and cosmetic condition. Unit is now installed and works great. Highly recommend Ingrams and thanks to Mr.Cool customer service for pointing me in their direction.

Customer service stinks read why

A grade A air handler ordered was delivered but it was delivered damaged and the damage caused could not have been done by the trucking company that they had deliver it. There was zero damage to any of the packaging materials including the inner plastic and cardboard but the unit has a lot of damage so therefore it had to be packaged prior to packaging and shipping. They immediately tried to get the trucking company to pay for the damage that they clearly didn’t do. When that failed they went silent so effectively refusing to replace the damaged air handler. I also had to replace at my expense a 3 ton condenser that had issues from day one. They refused to replace it also. So if you want customer service after purchasing anything purchased from INGRAMS. STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY !

Just so you know this was the third system purchased from Ingrams. If they won’t do the right thing for me what do you think they will do for the people who only purchase 1 system.

Ingram's MRCOOL cleaning kit order

Ordering process went well, Patricia, was the sales rep. Order was made on Jan 15th and now eight days later have not received any shipping or delivery updates other than confirmation of actual order, I would have thought this order would have moved along a little quicker. That said, I'm ok with the order so far, just hope I get it in the near future. A quick update (1/28/24), received my cleaning kit a little later the same day I wrote the initial review- so all is well. I would recommend giving buyers more delivery or tracking info.

I had a warranty problem on my furnace…

I had a warranty problem on my furnace Mr Cool. Still waiting for parts to fix it I report the problem December 26th 2023 it is now January 22nd still no correspondence and why I haven't received my part I've text numerous times for an answer not ever getting an answer other than it is warranted. It took five people and four service calls from complete home comfort. to get this part ordered that was defective from the start. I still haven't been contacted of an ETA and this part that I need. I suggest never ever buying a Mr Cool furnace because parts are too hard to get. That's why you only got one star.

Disappointed Mr Cool unit not DIY

To be straight forward with you, I'm disappointed that the unit I received turned out not to be a DIY Mr Cool unit. I was under the mistaken impression that the one I ordered was a DIY unit but it's not. I thought Mr Cool was DIY. As I looked at Utube at installations videos on several different channels it's painfully obvious that mine is not a DIY unit. Paper template is missing, the the 3.54 inch hole drill piece is missing. The guide for the tubing through the wall is missing. The wrap for the tubing isn't there. Instead of just connecting the lines and opening them. I have to hire a HVAC guy to vacuum the lines and probably put in refrigerant. Also the instructions manual must be for a professional installer. I would recommend that you inform purchasers that certain units of Mr Cool are not DIY and are not appropriate for non-professionals.

My contact at Ingram's was excellent to work with and was well versed on the Mr. Cool products I was interested in. There information was right on point and the order showed up very quickly and was packaged well.

When order was delivered I was missing…

When order was delivered I was missing 4 indoor units. The website is a mess and no one you talk to has a clue what they are doing it’s always send it to another department. I have a customer waiting on these units and still haven’t received the full order. I will never use this company again.
