This is a super place to stay. It's right on the water, in a quirky, historic building. The bedrooms are simple but comfortable, and the staff are friendly. We stayed as a family group (4 rooms) fol... See more

I really enjoyed my stay. Was cosy, spotless room and free wifi certainly was useful. Some lovely walks from the club but do bring wellies if it has recently rained. Do make sure you realise there are no TVs in room and facilities could be on another floor.
Lovely harbour views and we had the place practically to ourselves as it was out of season. A pub very close by for dinner, and a short ferry trip across the harbour to Bosham were highlights of our stay. The staff at the club were very welcoming and friendly and this, combined with the interest of staying in a unique venue like a sailing club, definitely added to our experience.
On the downside, we paid over £90 for a very small en suite room which out of season felt a bit steep, particularly as it was not cleaned well (dirty drinking glasses which we had to ask to have replaced, quite a few cobwebs). It felt like this accommodation is charging hotel prices but doesn’t quite offer hotel standards.
This idyllic club on the south coast looks like a country pub on the water with a family friendly feel to it. Competitive national standard racing, beginner through to racing instruction courses throughout the year and consistent social calendar makes it the perfect place to spend your weekends, rain or shine. High speed internet and coffee machine / bar also makes it a great place to work out the office!
