Item never arrived - vendor didn’t follow thru on their resolution
Item (Lavender - Irish Chandler Candle x 3) never arrived and Isabel’s Place were initially slow to redress and poor at communicating after I informed them of the issue. Having noticed order had status of delivered on Shop app but I had not received. After I had done all I could from my end and after much chasing up of Isabels Place was informed that tracking number that I had been provided by Isabels Place was not correct and they had shipped to incorrect address. Was informed the item was coincidentally out of stock so they couldn’t just fill order to me whilst they sorted out return with other customer (even though coincidentally the day before and the day after the item in quantity I wanted was available l!!!) so my choice was refund or wait for them to send on item once returned from incorrect customer. As items were still wanted as gifts I suggested waiving shipping would be fair but then unprompted Isabel’s Place offered to refund and to send the item itself as well. Between now and then (which was over 2 weeks ago) whilst I have received refund I’ve still not received the item as promised. Also whilst the issue was ongoing upon their request was asked to write a review of my experience so I wrote an honest review surmising the issue and status of the time but with a low star rating but strangely my review has never appeared on their account so have taken to leaving this one as whilst I am sure they have a lot of great and amazing outcomes (based on what is showcased on their site) - not all of them are satisfactory and for whatever reason my one reflecting that was not published even though I don’t feel I am being too demanding or unreasonable. At this stage am just holding them accountable for what they promised as following through on all of it is important - otherwise their efforts could appear like grand gestures - as if for show but without genuine sentiment but that just my own personal opinion based on my experience.
