Crooks and thieves. Took my money and disappeared.

I purchased a Black & Decker cordless vacuum (Pivot). There was an immediate thanks for my order and a promise of 7 day shipping and no further correspondence. They never replied to my emails. The company name that placed the charge on my card is foreign and shows no resemblance. These are crooks and thieves. DO NOT BUY ANYTHING FROM THEM !!!

Big Scam

My husband bought two Baby Yoda dolls and what we received was very scary and not at all as advertised. He was offered a 10% refund and 15% discount toward other merchandise. HA, what a joke. Our 10 yr old granddaughter told her mom not to put batteries in it because it was too creepy looking. We’re disputing the charges with our credit card company.

I also ordered the baby grogu (upgraded resin material) for $45 in November 2020. A package finally arrived in Jan 2021 and was not a "resin" animatronic but instead the most horrendous looking doll, very cheap and not resin at all. Going through our credit card company to dispute charges. These scammers should be arrested..

Ordered 2 Grogu Animated Dolls in the Fall of 2020...by January they still hadn't arrived and seemed stuck somewhere in China-which was odd as the company website stated it was located in California. I opened up a claim via PAYPAL and soon after 2 items that don't look even remotely like the item advertised arrived...and now the company website has vanished. THIS COMPANY IS A SCAM- BUYER BEWARE!!!

WARNING: AVOID THIS COMPANY LIKE THE PLAGUE

WARNING: IRONTREECO.COM IS A FRAUD
FALSE and MISLEADING ADVERTISING

This company fraudulently misrepresents itself as a legitimate online retailer, claiming to be selling an upgraded resin-based interactive baby Yoda toy. They used marketing from official Star Wars toy manufacturers to appear legitimate.

What I and many other people received was an extremely low-quality rag-doll with terrible stitching and design - very far from resembling the item outlined in the content of their advertisement.

The safety of the product came into question when the package arrived without professional packing material or box. It was hurriedly wrapped in a low-grade cellophane bag and stuffed in my mailbox.

The company pulled their website down after knowingly cheating people out of their money with this garbage. They never intended to provide the correct product because they NEVER had the product "as described" to sell.

To add insult to injury, this company will never provide a full refund! Rather, they push victims through an arduous refund experience in an attempt to keep for themselves a partial payment.

Fortunately, I was able to get a full refund of $45.88 by going directly to PAYPAL and my Credit Card company with a timely report of this fraudulent activity.

I too was scammed by these insidious scammers. Waited for weeks and weeks for a baby yoda that when it arrived I was so horrified I laughed and laughed because if i didnt I would have cried.! I emailed them and this went back and forth with nothing more offered than a 15%, then 20%, then 25% refund. Luckily i remembered I paid through PayPal so I opened up a case against them. They initially came back with this company offering a 20% refund. I refused and stood my ground. Can now say as of today I was refunded back my entire amount. Thank you PayPal!

A Very Bad Company

Only rating 1 star b/c I can’t rate 0. Bought: 4 baby yodas updated resin version. Received: 4 plushies that don’t resemble baby yoda at all. My experience is limited to this product. I cannot speak to any other products that Iron Tree may sell.

Tried first to negotiate w Sunny who, true to pattern described by other reviewers, offered first a fraction of the full payment, and then an incremental increase with each subsequent email. Last offer was 30%, at which point I just opened a claim w PayPal. Approximately one week later, PayPal refunded me in full. I highly recommend opening a claim w PayPal rather than engaging w Sunny. It’s a waste of time. I recommend against closing any open claim with PayPal in exchange for the PROMISE of a full refund. Until you have the refund in hand, do not relinquish your claim.

The scam is simple: Iron Tree and any other aliases it’s using (I see other nearly duplicate websites and ads for the same baby yoda) misleads the consuming public by advertising a high quality, well-detailed baby yoda. The consumer, relying on the ad, orders and pays for the baby yoda. Iron Tree ships a product that fails to resemble anything like that advertised. The consumer complains to Iron Tree and requests a refund. Iron Tree then attempts to withhold a major portion of money paid by offering consumer a small percentage on basis that it has costs and returns are a hassle for both parties. Iron Tree then increases its refund offer incrementally, hoping to land on a number that the consumer can live with. This is how Iron Tree makes its money, at least on this product. It fully expects that consumers will complain and ask for a refund, but will capitulate to a partial refund because the negotiation process is too taxing and/or the consumer doesn’t want to deal w the refund process. It’s an unconscionable and deceptive practice.

ZERO stars! (01/22/2021)
Somehow, along with any trace of an Irontreeco.com website, my lengthy "Where's my tracking info?" emails with Sunny seem to have disappeared.
Has anyone here gotten any satisfaction?

Same story as everyone else on this…

Same story as everyone else on this site; saw a cute animatronic baby Yoda, two months later received a a green, mimicking, plush gremlin. Put a claim for fraud against the company via PayPal and was contacted by Sunny.
Unlike most of you he offered be a whopping 40% refund dependent on my closing the the dispute. Screwed me once, now they're coming back a second time!
I told Sunny that his company's practices violated my trust and that he needs to now trust me by refunding me my money and trusting that I will close the dispute soon after receiving the money. He keeps insisting that I close the case first. If you get a similar reply DON'T CLOSE THE CASE! You'll never hear back from Sunny!

Terrible

Terrible. Exactly the same scenario as many have mentioned. Ordered a baby yoda animatronic and received some cheap, creepy looking doll that isn’t what I ordered. I asked for a full refund. And they only offered a 15% refund. SCAM. I wish I saw this before ordering. Sigh. Has anyone had luck disputing??

IRONTREECO IS A SCAM!

Like many others on this site, I purchased an animated Baby Yoda. After waiting TWO months for shipping I received it. I thought it was weird that it could fit in my mailbox...that was my first clue it wasn't what I expected. I honestly can't believe how many complaints I have found for this company! It is a complete scam! I have spent a week trying to get a refund and have received numerous emails from "Sunny". I was offered 15% refund...ya know because they have costs. I won't stop until I have a full refund or the item I purchased. ZERO STARS!!!

This company should be shut down. I ordered the Animatronic yoda from this company and they sent me a plush yoda with a battery pack that rarely works. Complete scam and bait and switch.
