A company worth using!
The overall experience was good and I would use this company again without hesitation. However, two things marred the transaction. The first is minor, but there was no communication about dispatch of the order. This meant that it was a pleasant surprise that the goods arrived promptly, but it would have been useful to have known when to expect delivery. The second complaint is that the delivery was surcharged because I live north of Perth! The Highlands are served by good roads and an efficient local delivery network. There is no justification for surcharging deliveries to this region when goods are sent greater distances to the South of England without surcharge. In general a good experience and I would recommend using this company.

You should get notification on the day of delivery as to when the goods are expected to arrive from Parcelforce. We will investigate why this did not happen.
Parcelforce also set the delivery charges, which we have no control over. Unfortunately the Highlands attract a higher charge than other parts of the UK.
Although not a perfect 5 we appreciate your recommendation!

Parcel force has not delivered or left a note. You guys do not respond to emails or inquiries. Absolutely rubbish service for several hundred pounds of hardware I’ll probably never see.

Chrome plated Door/Window Furniture
My order (Marcus Door and sash window furniture) arrived, well packed, within 48 hours and complete. I have checked all the components and they all operate as they should and look well made and the chrome finish on all items is excellent! I would have no hesitation in using Ironmongery Plus again and would be happy to recommend them. Since all the parts, I ordered, were in perfect condition and arrived within the specified time, I cannot comment on their after sales performance but would like to think it's as good as my experience so far. Well done to Ironmongery Plus!

The product that I required was a fire door over head closer unit.
The product that I required was immediately displayed on their website, (after entering their search) with all the associated information I required. Once I decided to purchase the product I requested, very easy to accomplish within their website. Product arrived well before stated date and in good condition. All in all, a very satisfying experience. Would definitely buy a product again from Ironmondery Plus website.

This company, unlike others, called me to inform me that the item I had ordered, was out of stock. The gent I spoke to went through what they had with me and we agreed on a replacement. He was patient and very helpful. This is brilliant service and I highly recommend them.

I would recommend this supplier
The products were as ordered and were despatched quickly. There was an issue with delivery, which was entirely down to Parcel Force, but Ironmongery Plus were very helpful in sorting this out.
