Discrimination
Discrimination! I was discriminated at the pool at IP Hotel and Casino!
I reserved a Cabana for the full day! However, once I was there the waitress Shelly a White female asked for my room in which I had a suite RM 1040. But then she asked for my ID, therefore I had to go back up to the room to get my ID.
Then she asked if I had the Cabana for the full day! They should already be informed I checked in at the Cabana stand.
Nevertheless, clearly my response was not good enough or since I was a Black female, to the staff I had to be lying!
Later I was asked again by another White female they sent over did I have the Cabana for the full day or half. I responded that I paid for a full day!
A couple hours later, they sent a White male to the cabana to ask me was I done because they have another reservation at 2:30pm.
Keep in mind the pool had few people and I was the only one in a Cabana all the others were empty!
If this wasn’t an act of blatant discrimination I don’t know what is! It was humiliating and messed with my mood to know I was being watched and targeted by the pool staff at the IP Hotel and Casino Biloxi.
I ended up leaving, they got what they wanted, which was for me not to be there. I was targeted by an entire pool staff.
Very distasteful.
