Auction moved fast...maybe too fast

Auction moved fast...maybe a little too fast. It seemed the auctioneer would sometimes open an item and immediately issued 3 last warnings in a row and then closed it immediately. This was near the end of the 8-hour auction, but still... I'll know better next time, and there will be a next time when I hope to offer a 4- or 5-star review.
Nice selection of fishing items.
Could have used a few photos and info on the website during and prior to the auction.

They sell fake art!

They sell fake art. We bought an item for more than $4,000. It was fake! Also, we purchased two items and the seller would not release one of the items, he decided he wanted to keep it, plus he kept our money too. Good luck getting your money back if this happens. Invaluable has no customer service.

Invaluable.com aptly named indeed!

Invaluable.com could not have a more fitting name--wonderful search function, information-rich; easy to bid ahead of time or live via the online site or the app--I've done both with great success. Delighted to be a return client many times over!

I submitted bid for auction

I submitted bid for auction. I won nothing even though invaluable shows I had the highest bid. Why? Because invaluable does not communicate that even though they have the auctions on their site and you can submit bids, you are in a PENDING category until you register with the other auction house. At no time did invaluable or the other auction house say you have to register. Invaluables' own site says once registered and confirmed, you don't have to register again. Really disappointed in the poor communications. Lost seven items I really wanted for my collection because of their poor management. never more.

Unresponsive.

We have been trying to reach out to invaluable for months about selling on their site. After the 10th email, we gave up. They did not respond to any of our emails. We also attempted a few times to contact them through live chat but each time were told to wait for the email. Doesn’t seem like they need any more sellers. We highly recommend LiveAuctioneers. They are much more responsive. We have been selling through them for about a year and they’ve been great.

Professional conduct.

The professional manner in which the Auction was conducted. The opportunity to mention the after-Auction attention from Ms Belinda Smith was outstanding. Her ability to politely accept and tolerate my insignificant delays and problems without becoming annoyed was a testament to her exceptional work ethic. She should be formally commended for her conduct and efforts in this matter.

Beowulf Art & Books of Spring Texas & Invaluable

I placed the winning bid and paid. No item was sent. Seller couldn’t explain why they hadn’t sent it. I asked for refund to my payment credit card or bank transfer to my (US) account. Seller refuses those payment methods, points the finger at Invaluable for a solution. Invaluable points the finger at the Seller. Taking money for an item that you won’t deliver then keeping the money is fraudulent. Best to avoid both this seller and Invaluable.
