Criminal prices in London - do not buy!

Intimissimi opened a new store in London Kensington and they are selling my favourite panties at £24 which means nearly EUR 29. The same panties in Italy are priced EUR 12,90 - this is criminal!
This is not a price increase, this is absolutely outrageous. How can they expect people to buy their products with these prices??? Terrible terrible mistake.

Terrible experience

Terrible experience. Staff mentioned I could get a full refund for my purchase on a sale item, I made sure to check this before I bought the item as it was a gift so wanted to ensure I could return it. Only to then be told upon returning that it could only be exchanged or given a credit note. The staff are reluctant to give any refunds probably because it is a failing business and I would not be surprised if it did close down soon.

Very poor customer service.

Very poor customer service.

I had an issue with my gift card, the code didn’t work. I emailed customer service, they advice to try different browser, it didn’t work. I emailed again, they advised the same thing, then replied about two random gift card codes while I raised an issue about one gift card. I asked for a seniors customer service team member support. My request was ignored and they asked me to provide the gift card number again, despite I shared it three times before. I just gave up trying.

Quality went down

I used to shop a lot in INTIMISSIMI, especially in the early and mid 2010’s. Mostly bodysuits and lingerie. The bodysuits I purchased back then still hold up to this day even though I have been wearing them 100+ times.

Recently went back and purchased many tops and bodysuits hoping they will last me for years again. It’s been a few months and one, the tubular rib-knit top is holding up a bit better. The cashmere blend tops are absolute rubbish and feel horrible on the skin, started pilling after the first wash.

The once amazing quality bodysuits are now made from cheap, very synthetic feel material and started developing holes after the first couple of wear.

Circa 250€ worth of clothing is now in the bin. Don’t waste your money on INTIMISSIMI, it’s nothing what it used to be.

Refunded less than owed

Ordered a set of items, and then returned some of them (clean, unworn, I just tried them on at home and they didn't fit). My refund was less than the amount of items I returned. Their warehouse didn't properly track all the items I shipped back. I've been patiently communicating with them for over a month to get the remainder I'm owed and they are ignoring my emails. I am initiating a chargeback with my credit card. This company is awful - save yourself, do not buy.

Here is the email i sent to the company

I’ve never written to a customer service department before, and cannot imagine doing so for something under €100….
Unfortunately any great training programs and brilliant merchandizing you may have will not account for the extreme rudeness i experienced at your Chiado store in Lisbon, Portugal.

As a client that typically spends between €1,000- 1,500 a year in your ( chiado) shop i recently tried to exchange an xmas gift( with all tags attached) for a size smaller. I was asked for the receipt which my ( 83 yr old mother, who bought the gift had sent me via email, and a copy of which was on my phone)
I showed the assistant who said she could not accept it as the picture was cut at the bar code. See attached.
I explained that it was a herculean feat for my mother to actually send this via technology and i was leaving the country for several
Months and this was my only chance to change. She said it was impossible.
I was not happy and asked her to bend the rules and make it happen. She said if i did not like it i could contact customer service, she was just an employee and it was not her fault.
I have to say, this rhetoric infuriated me- why was she there at all in that case, why not just have some AI bots to deal with customers?

I asked her for her name on the store card, and knowing that i wear glasses (i had made a joke about getting them to see the receipt) she told me to get a pencil and write the details myself. I was totally shocked.
I asked again and she held out her name badge ( knowing full well i could not read it) and said, its here, write it yourself……..
This happened 3 times, me asking patiently and her goading me.

She was rude, impertinent and was diminishing my age and my inability to read without my glasses, discriminations that are highly offensive in any country.

I asked for the nightie back, which she balled up, and i left the store.

Shaking with rage i told my husband who went back into the shop and got her name- ELISA C.

I now have a piece of clothing that i cannot return ( an xmas gift that i had specifically asked for)

I have enjoyed your products in the past but will not return to your stores again and am appalled at the level of service from a brand that has a perceived level of good quality.

DO NOT BUY THEIR THINGS

I bought a couple of long sleeves cashmere t-shirts, the quality is worse than the cheapest store (but is not cheap at all) the seams are all twisted, well, then I've decided to return it cause is faulty, but then they have me waiting to pick the order since a month ago, texting them every week, and rescheduling with the post man, but still nothing, I still have this bloody faulty items and no help.

Don't be fool like me, do yourself a favor and don't buy there clothes.... bad quality, horrible attention.

I like the products i ordered aside…

I like the products i ordered aside from the microfibre briefs (M, usually my size) which are very tight and roll down a lot when i move around or walk. Despite being a loyalty client, points are not always added to my card, often more than 14 days after a purchase and sometimes not at all after data pertaining to some orders goes missing from their website.

Terrible return / customer care

The items were HORRIBLE so I requested a return on 1 Dec. The collection was made on 5 Dec 2023, and seems to have been misplaced by the courier. They refused to investigate until 20 Dec 2023, and then only to say it now had to be escalated to another department.

They have now had my money for more than one month.

Their return promise is this:

The Westchester Location is terrible … beware!!!!

I went into this location and it was absurd. I’ve never experience something like this in my life but I believe it’s the store manager because she’s always in there, she is a very racist and mean individual to her staff. I’m an African American woman I was in this store waiting to be served there were only two ladies in the store, the younger lady was helping with someone but the older lady the store manager, very off and stuck up was staring at me and told me that the young lady would be right with me, that’s fine I’ll wait. But three more other persons walked into the store and she decided to go and help them while I was waiting for 30 minutes. She was working hard with all three other persons who were fair skinned, as I approached the manager (Karen) she was very snappy and unprofessional speaking down to me as if I was trash. I’ve been shopping at Intimissimi for over 10 years and this is not the first time I’ve encountered an issue with this woman in the last 2 years but I am finally going to speak up. This woman Karen is very racist and treat her workers so bad, when the worker called her out to try and help me, she took the worker in the back room and 10 minutes later this girl came out the back crying! This location clearly has a very high turnover rate because everytime I walk by there’s a new face. And so I finally decided to go in the store while the store manager wasn’t there. This poor girl cried her heart out to me letting me know how much abuse she’s been putting up with the company and how their HR does nothing about this lady, instead they’ve lost over countless amount of people because HR refuse to hold this woman accountable for her abuse! She told one of her girls who wasn’t feeling well mentally, that if she has mental issues she shouldn’t be working at any type of jobs if she requires mental health day and instead should check into a hospital or institute!!! I WILL NO LONGER BE SUPPORTING THIS COMPANY BECAUSE THEY FAVOR ABUSE AND RACIST INDIVIDUALS AND NOT HOLD THEM ACCOUNTABLE, they only “PROMOTE THEM” ! I guess they’re trying to push us African Americans not to shop in their stores anymore and they’re doing it with our own skin. I knew something was off about that Store Manager! I will be reporting her and this company, since they’ve been aware of her behavior and how she treats her staff and customers of colors. I miss the girls who were there in that store years before but I can understand why they all left! To find out that this company’s HR did ABSOLUTELY nothing to protect these poor girls from that WOMAN, I will be making a BIG REPORT ON THIS n behalf of that poor girl that works with her and the African American community to the state and this company for hiding so much under the rug about this store manger. How she became a store manager all of a sudden when everyone is gone says A LOT about Initimissi! They favor racism and employee abuse. BUYERS BEWARE! DO NOT SHOP HERE!! I would never support a business like this! I wonder if it’s like this at other locations!!! Just TERRIBLE!

They won't deliver my order

I ordered two products with Store Pick Up on the November 24 that should arrive by December 4 - order 2340071147. We're on December 18 and the tracking says the parcel hasn't even been handed to the carrier yet. I contacted them last week and the person said they'd reply me by e-mail but I haven't received anything. I've tried to contact their Online Chat again and the person won't reply. Awful service!! Feels like I'm being scammed

No Customer Support for Issues

I am a first time customer and placed an order online. I received a notification that my package was delivered but it never arrived at my door. I contacted customer support on December 6, 2023 and was told that my email would be forwarded to the right department. I followed up a week later as I had not received a response and received the same cookie cutter message about forwarding my email to the correct department. I spent over $100 on my order, it has been two weeks and I have received nothing and customer support has not assisted at all.

This has been a frustrating experience to say the least and I would not recommend shopping online at all with this company as they do not provide at customer support for issues.

7 months wait to deliver to store

I ordered a pair of pants online and selected deliver to store. I made this purchase on 6th May and just received a notification on 17th December to say it had arrived in store ready for collection. 7 months!! What an absolute joke. Where are they shipping it from, the moon?!

I think they made a mistake on their website. 3-4 working days delivery - they probably ment 3-4 working days comunication speed!!!

My package is late, sent a message to them, after 2 days they replied, that they will check. Now they are checking for 3 days already.

Four months and order still not received!

When in Europe this summer, I bought some sleep wear at Intimissimi. Thought is was great and placed another order online from the U.S. on August 12, 2023. Today is December 13, 2023. Still have not received it and my credit card was charged in August. Wish I read reviews before placing order. Hoping for a refund.

TAG problem

fast delivery, BUT the TAGS are ridiculous! These products are sold as high end Italian underwear, etc yet have these massively huge tags! When trying to cut them out you have to nearly cut the fabric to get rid of them! So...not so high quality after all.
