When a company goes out of their way to ensure that you have the best experience possible, you know you have found a real gem! And that is Intimate Places in a nutshell. They knew that the migration was what we came for, and they moved mountains (well tents, but in the middle of the Serengeti, you might as well move mountains) to make sure that we were right where we needed to be! The team was incredible- friendly, accommodating, and sharp! The talking hot showers were incredible, just my kind of camping! When it comes to fabulous meals and ice cold drinks, you would have never guessed that we were in the middle of the bush! My two sons, (10 and 11) absolutely loved their first tented camp experience, and I am afraid Intimate Places will be stuck with us when we return to the Serengeti, because why mess with perfection!

We had a great experience from beginning to end with our Private Intimate Camp in the Serengeti. Because the migration was moving at a slower pace than anticipated Marc Lawson recommended moving our camp further south in the Serengeti. He was able to make this change at the last minute and this proved to be without a doubt the best mobile camp safari we had ever experienced and that is my preferred way to enjoy the Serengeti. The camp was in a perfect location with a magnificent view and easy access to thoroughly enjoy a variety of unbelievable viewing experiences.

We had an amazing experience at Camp Zebra run by Intimate Places in the Serengeti! The tents were very nice and included a comfortable bed with a hot water bottle in the evenings to make sure the bed was cozy; hot showers thanks to the team of workers, flushable toilets in the middle of the Serengeti and delicious meals that even catered to my husband and my vegetarian diets! I would highly recommend Intimate Places.

The whole experience was outstanding. The tents were luxurious. The staff was exceptional and very accommodating. They were more than happy to do whatever we asked. Sandra especially liked being able to easily and quickly get multiple buckets of hot water for showers. The meals were top restaurant quality, through some magic the chefs must have been performing in the background. We hope to come back in the not too distant future and highly recommend Intimate Places for anyone considering a top level tent camp excursion.
