As a Jamaican, I value structure and rigor. Juan and his team are very organized and operate with a sense of excellence. Tjhon's transfer from the USA to Spain was smooth, thanks to the assistance and guidance given by Juan. Inter Granada Football Academy definitely gets 5 stars from the Thomas family! Tjhon's future as a professional footballer looks quite promising thanks to this prestigious academy!

A transformative experience for my son

As a father, sending my son to Inter Granada CF Academy was one of the best decisions I have made. The international experience he received was truly incredible. The level of training improved his soccer skills in ways I could not have imagined—his decision-making, technical ability, and overall understanding of the game grew tremendously in a short period of time.

But what impressed me even more was the personal growth he experienced. Living in a different country, learning a new culture, adapting to a new environment, and being surrounded by players from all over the world helped him mature as a person. He became more independent, more responsible, and more confident. The coaching staff encouraged discipline, respect, and teamwork on and off the field, and that guidance made a real difference in him.

The academy doesn’t just develop soccer players—it develops young men. If any parents are considering Inter Granada CF Academy, I recommend it without hesitation. The combination of high-level training, international exposure, and personal development is something you simply cannot get at home. It was an amazing experience for my son, and I am grateful he had the opportunity to be part of this program.

Inter is always welcoming and I always feel respected. I haven’t been here for too long but my first month so far has been exceptional. The training staff and coaches are really good and the push for the best out of you. The city is really nice with most things being walking distance which is very nice. All and all I’ve had a great experience here and can’t wait for next months ahead.

Since the beginning the coaches and everyone else were very welcoming. The experience was one of those moments where I won’t forget, good trainings and better coaches who take time to listen to you whenever you want to learn something. Overall it was an amazing experience.

Coming from the U.S, Inter Granada is an excellent program to start your international soccer journey. They offer a women’s team, juvenile team and senior team. The program not only focuses on the field development, but also outside the field, having responsible, mature, smart, discipline, healthy habits that translate into your daily lifestyle. Inter Granada offers a morning training session that is only for international players. Some days are followed with a gym session as well. Then throughout your day, you are also offered Spanish learning classes. Finally at night, you have your 2nd training session with the team corresponding to your age. Don't be late and be prepared. You are given a bus card, but it’s your responsibility to add the funds. To recharge the card, you can only do cash. You have the option of paying through bank card, but it is more expensive. There are also taxis and Ubers as a form of transportation.
Juan de and Antonio, the president/director of the club, they are very professional and caring men. Both are very approachable and understanding. Inter Granada have amazing staff. Coaches that not only care about the overall team, but individual improvement. They also offer a physio and nutritionist.
The house/flat you stay at is in good conditions, but it definitely is up to you and the teammates you live with to keep it clean and in good condition. Depending on your contract, depends on overall experience, you get what you pay for!
Overall, I do recommend joining. My experience at Inter Granada was good, I saw growth in my performance, mindset and overall living standards. Hopefully the program continues to improve and maybe when you join they offer a lot more.

*The program Inter Granada offer doesn’t necessarily guarantee tryouts/matches with top of the level teams in Spain, but that does not mean there isn’t opportunity or should not stop you from wanting to be a part of the team*

Working with Juande and all of Inter Granada made my life a joy. With everything I was able to learn and absorb, I brought it over here back to the US, and was able to land a full-time position in sports. Very grateful for each lesson and experience with them!

Coaches are supportive and lovely, coming from professional backgrounds they have the adequate knowledge to help you thrive and prosper youth athlete. The first time he joined as a student doing an internship. Now, he returned as a player and is transitioning into a coach for the academy. He left everything behind in the U.S.—his career, job, girlfriend, and family—for this adventure, and it transformed him.

Great avenue for playing in Spain. All of the staff including the director of the organization very humble and trustworthy. The program looks for talented players who have a true love for the game and are happy and very willing to learn. The training is phenomenal and the life skills development is bar none. This is a true selection and development program looking to make players great and also great human beings/ professionals.

This academic taught my son many things beside soccer. He learned discipline, organization, leadership, and believed in himself. The experience is extraordinary. The training, the games and the opportunities every player has is a plus. My son is so graceful to be part of this group, and he takes with him good friends and team players. The accommodation is absolutely incredible! Very spacious with a beautiful garden and a stunning pool. The view over the city is breathtaking, and the neighborhood is calm and peaceful. Everything is great !
