Lack of Support/Care + Negligence
JOHNS&CO hired Intent Inventories to do our end-of-tenancy checkout. The clerk on site wouldn’t let us add any comments. The final 45-page report listed 70-plus issues, many of which already appeared on the original check-in report or looked like normal wear and tear.
After the visit I asked the Association of Independent Inventory Clerks whether the clerk was on their register and was told she wasn’t.
We emailed Intent Inventories three times over two weeks with our detailed complaints and each acknowledgement promised “a same-day reply,” but no answers ever came.
If you need a process that allows tenant input or responsive post-visit support, you may want to clarify those points before booking.
