Amazing, totally recommend!
Everything about the process was outstanding. Intensive done everything, booked the tests and arranged the instructor. Was able to have both theory and practical passed in 3 months.
Desy, the instructor allocated was amazing. He teaches you how not to just pass your test but to also drive, and this is a massive difference. He was welcoming, extremely knowledgeable, and created a team mentality. He wanted me to pass almost, if nor more than me.
I recommend intensive and Desy to anyone starting this journey; this means so much, and there is absolutely no way whatsoever that I could have passed without either.

I was linked to an honest instruct Tom. D, who worked around my schedule and was very helpful and encouraged me. I would recommend this site a million times. Thank you guys!
For me - a waste of time and money
I feel it was a waste of money. I waited 5 months to get a test booked, then a further 2 months to start with the instructor. The awkward thing is you don’t know if you are going to be compatible with your instructor.. I stuck with him as felt I had to but he wasn’t very professional, knowledgable but not a great temperament. I’m not completely new to driving so I can’t imagine what he would be like with a beginner. He was going on about more lessons.. I’d be ready after one more day of lessons… oh how convenient. After paying £1,200 odd I couldn’t fork up anymore. I felt so defeated I just cancelled my test. I am now going to have a few more lessons with a new instructor and wish I hadn’t bothered doing intensive! A week of precious annual leave gone too, just to feel low in spirit.

I looked on there website picked a package booked and paid for it no problem they sorted everything theory test practical test and the driving instructor perfect service had my theory test on the 14th of one month had the practical test on the 4th of the following month passed both tests no problem
WARNING Very poor experience
WARNING Very poor experience - Avoid at all costs if you live in Scotland.
Our son booked a course of intensive lessons in Jan25. The course is meant to
last 2-4 weeks, understandable and acceptable it goes to 6-8 weeks. Its 16 weeks, and when they booked the exam they booked it in a different county - Angus, despite our son pleading with them to do it in Perth. He does not know Angus at all. Also the instructor assigned lives 1 hour away, and as he has a separate driving school, could only allocate 1 lesson practically every 2 weeks on a Sunday. He refused to pick our son up from home (too long a distance for him to drive) so our son had to make his own way to Perth (bus or us driving him there) for his lessons. It was ridiculous. Our son did not have the 25 hours of lessons that were paid for, and intensive lessons were shockingly poor at the lack of any support. Our son tried to cancel the test, but intensive lessons wanted £95 to cancel it and then additional costs for rearranging it (ridiculous for a company that suppose to offer intensive lessons). Our son failed his test today in Angus (super upset).
What a disgraceful customer journey experience for a learner driver to have in the hands of Intensive Lessons. Its shocking.
They failed to meet the sales of goods and services act. Tried contacting them about it, but they were not interested in addressing the issues. It seems they have little coverage in Scotland, and poor customer care service.
Note: The cost per 1 hour lesson with Intensive lessons works out at nearly double that of a normal driving school so absolutely no benefit going with intensive lessons - only stresses, anxiety and extremely expensive?
Avoid, avoid, avoid from very disappointed Mum and Dad
Response to your message - of 27May25
1. It was 16 weeks - from Jan to May - this is not classified Intensive
2. Our son has not completed the number of hours of lessons (infact the instructor still owes him a couple of lessons)
3. Our son specifically begged (yes begged) for Perth, as Dundee was a main city and too far away. The instructor even refused to give him regular lessons there, and after much pushing from our son he agreed to give 2 lessons only, with the fact that our son had to make his own way there (bus and train and back (2-3 hour roundtrip - own cost))
4. After you found out he failed, you offered 5 extra hours for £450 and a guarantee to get a quick test booked. How shocking is that - no empathy or care
5. We would think it is your responsibility to ensure that if the driver fails you immediately book another test for them, as part of the original amount paid. You left him high and dry. Again, terrible experience.

It's a scam
I booked an intensive course. I was hoping that I could book a few weeks off from work, spend several hours a day on driving lessons and get my licence quickly.
Instead they offered me a driving test in 5 months time and a 2 hour lesson once a week. I told them that I cannot leave work and come back and it's not worth me booking a whole day off from work just for one day. I asked if they could either give me my lessons in the evenings or offer longer, less frequent lessons. They would not agree to either demand. Now they are refusing to return my deposit.

The Intensive Lessons team were able to bring my test date forward by 4 months!
The Intensive Lessons team were able to match me to a fantastic driving instructor who made me feel so at ease ahead of my test as well as bring my test date forward from August to April. Would highly recommend.

Intensive Lessons sorted me out big time. Needed my licence ASAP for a new job, and they delivered. Did a 7-day course, and my instructor, Paul, was a top bloke – proper knowledgeable and kept me focused. The fast-track test was clutch, and I passed no hassle. If you need to get on the road quick, these are your guys!
Overall good experience
Overall good experience, got me an instructor and test very quickly which i passed, the instructor David was very patient and gave good, clear instructions.
Fantastic service
Fantastic service. They found an earlier slot and then allocated a brilliant instructor Gordon and first time pass too. Highly recommend!

I had a lesson with Royston for 3 hour's then the test the next day and flew through it , royston is very good at his job I can't thank him enough
Overpriced for horrible instruction
Overpriced for horrible instruction. I have been driving for a very long time, mostly in the US, but also in the UK. I took lessons as a refresher before my test and the instructor gave me misinformation and bad instruction (confirmed by the examiner). Don't waste your time or money with this company, their customer service was also horrible.
Very good service
Very good service. The intensive course was quick and efficient, I passed on time and was pleased with how easy it was to book around my schedule. I am also very pleased with driving instructor Tony Arnold who was assigned to me. He was very patient with me and was a brilliant instructor.
My Experience
My Experience – Wouldn’t Recommend
I really tried to have a good experience with this company, but unfortunately it was disappointing and stressful.
I booked my crash course on December 31st and was told I should expect a test within 1–2 months. I understand there are delays due to backlog, but if you’re paying for a service, it should be delivered within the timeframe promised — or at least clearly communicated if not.
They took far too long to book my test. I had a holiday planned in April, which I told them about in advance. Despite this, they booked my test for May 2nd — just a few days after I was due to return. I asked if it could be changed and was told no, that it was the only one available. Feeling pressured, I initially locked in the test, thinking I had no other option.
But later I sat down and asked myself: why should I be forced to take a test I’m not ready for just because someone else decided it was okay? I expressed clearly that I wasn’t happy, but they kept pushing, saying things like “other people are fine with it” — which felt dismissive and unprofessional.
Then came the excuses. At one point they claimed they didn’t have my phone number — even though they had already sent it to the instructor and confirmed it to me in a message. That made no sense and felt like they were just trying to shift blame.
They also accused me of having “malicious intentions” just because I locked in the test at one point — when in reality, I was trying to give it a go before realising I wasn’t going to be ready. I wasn’t asking for anything unreasonable — just to be treated fairly and not pressured into doing something that didn’t work for me.
I also booked a 10-hour course, and I didn’t feel that was nearly enough time considering how close the test was to my holiday. When I called them out on their behaviour, they got defensive and refused to take responsibility. I asked for a refund and clearly explained I wasn’t satisfied with the service, and they still refused.
And when I told them I would be sharing my honest experience, they even threatened to take legal action — which honestly says everything you need to know about how they treat unhappy customers.
Save yourself the stress — this experience made me feel pressured, gaslit, and unsupported. A driving school should work around the student’s availability, not the other way around. I do not recommend them.
Appalling. You will lose your deposit!
Appalling company!
I notice the reviews on here do not reflect the other reviews I have since read elsewhere. If only I had known, do not waste your money here or you will be out of pocket.
They have an appalling portal system that does not work. They give dates for tests months in advance and then change them.
And if your circumstances change like my sons did, then you can forget getting any assistance through the telephone number they give out. And if you do finally get to speak to the manager - Jason (surname unknown as he will not provide it - even his staff don't know it)
When I tried to explain and resolve the issue, Jason was very unprofessional, he talked over me, became very rude and made personal insults. Needless to say I terminated the call at this point.
When we spoke with a driving instructor who had previous dealings with this company he said that every customer that he had referred to him had similar issues and they refuse to pay back a deposit.
It seems they deliberately make issues so that they can keep the deposit.
You have been warned!
