I own an adult dating site, I've run it for 25 years, and we have a very good reputation, but our old payment processor had to end their relationship with us because our industry is now considered 'high risk'. After 25 years, crazy. So I found Instabill, who advertise that they support adult sites, dating sites, and escort sites. We applied for a merchant account with instabill several weeks ago, I answered all of their KYC questions and submitted the requested documents in their required format, and after 2 weeks of waiting for them to 'vet my business', they informed me that they are "unable to assist with a merchant account as the risk is too high for the bank". I mean, what?! So, it turns out they were lying, Instabill DON'T support adult sites, dating sites, or escort sites. They'll ask you for sensitive information, and then decline your application. Very suspicious behaviour
The staffs are professional but, if you have a live cam project, you will probably lose your time. I got rejected twice, first because my company was offshore, then after moving the company to EU, because they pretendedly don't take startup with no processing history, translating to: we don't want new competitors in the industry because the banks prefer monopolies. Though, their website clearly states that they consider offshore and startups applications. To be noted, after my second application, I had to get back to them to get the answer, otherwise they'd just let me wait.
We have been very happy with Instabill. They are very helpful and it is very easy to use!
