I've been paying for laptop theft…
I've been paying for laptop theft insurance at Insify, and when my MacBook pro with findmymac got stolen in a restaurant, they said it has to be a robbery to be able to be covered. Furthermore, they made the wrong statement that no insurer covers theft in public space for laptop in Netherlands, which is false, as Lemonade does or Apple does. I'm not a lawyer and I see it from consumer's perspective.
Sales person at Insify has said that laptop theft is covered in public space. When I asked Insify to listen to that conversation, they refused to get back to me.
Also, it's ridiculous to ask for proof that you were physically harmed in robbery to be able to qualify for laptop theft insurance in public space.

As we have shared previously, with our electronics insurance you are covered for damages on your electronic devices and you are covered for theft when someone breaks into your office or when someone robs you (threatened with violence). To keep the prices affordable for every small entrepreneur, petty theft is excluded.
You've shared with us how much this petty theft has impacted you so we've tried to offer you other forms of compensation (such as paying for renting a similar laptop for a period of time). You have declined this yet we are still open to see what we can do for you, please give us a call.

Starts simple but takes over an hour to fill in
Onboarding starts simple, but becomes quite difficult after a while. After one hour of gathering the correct information and filling in the questions an algorithm gives a verdikt, for me it was not possible to create an disability assurance because of 'other questions you answered'. Quite strange that so little detail is given, maybe I made a mistake somewhere. I will continue to look for a better insurance company.
