I would highly recommend the insidr phone to everyone. We used it while in Paris and always got the information we were seeking. The staff that supports the phone queries is excellent. We were able to find our way when we weren’t sure how to get where we were going, and they easily solved our problem of getting from our apartment to the airport on the way home.
Picking up the phone and mailing it from the airport was easy. We really feel our trip was made better because we had the phone and the team behind it working for us. Do not hesitate to get this phone.

INSIDR was an indispensable resource on my solo trip to Paris. It was convenient, affordable, and allowed me to stay connected throughout my stay. Not only was the aspect of having someone meet me with a phone at the airport as I arrived, super helpful; but they also acted as concierge, making regular recommendations and even dinner reservations. INSIDR's smartphone service was very good and instrumental in making my trip in Europe fun and easy! They replied to my questions as soon as they could and gave some local tips around Paris, especially. I also found their website to be very useful and it helped me plan my itinerary in Europe! I’d highly recommend INSIDR to anyone visiting France. The entire process was smooth from collection through to returning the device. The phone was delivered to my rental in a timely fashion. No issues with coverage, we always had WiFi coverage even outside of Paris. INSIDR team were helpful and readily available.

I had an amazing experience with the INSIDR. Upon my arrival, to my hotel, my insidr phone was waiting for me and shortly after I received a visit from an insidr rep who sat down with me to show me how to use the phone, contact insidr and more. Using the insidr phone made my Paris experience so much better plus I could easily find cool insider/local things to do in Paris. If you are ever in Paris get your insidr phone or use another one of their services. I look forward to working with them again.

During traveling in Paris with INSIDR, I can't feel any kind of inconvenience for the cell phone. It was a very helpful to use the cell phone cause of enough data and even got the kind reply from INSIDR Live talk for the useful Paris's information.

First time using this service and I have no regrets! This service made my trip to Paris. Any questions I had, I got answers right away using their live chat function. They even gave me suggestions to what to do at night when I didnt know what to do. All the usual travel apps are installed in the phone including maps, public transportation - step by step directions on where to go what to do, translations, gps, local stores and shops suggestions...everything you can think of it's there! I LOVED IT! Because I've never heard of this service until I was at the airport, I was a bit reserved and I was worried about returning the phone. All throughout my trip I didn't notice any post station even though it's probably everywhere. But I ended up being able to drop it off at the airport which was quite convenient. The only thing that I had trouble with was the thickness of the envelop, I almost couldn't drop it at the post, I had to force it into the little opening. I recorded the whole process to prove that I indeed dropped the phone off, just in case the phone got lost and I was charged. Thoughtfully, the company emailed me several days later notifying me that they received the phone. Excelling service, very well worth the try. I strongly recommend it and will defn. use them again.

I just returned from a 3 week trip to Paris and the best thing I did for myself was rent a phone from INSIDR Paris! It was amazing to have a mobile phone, mobile hotspot, and live concierge throughout my stay. The pick up at CDG was easy and the pre paid mailer to return the phone was super convenient. Everyday, an INSIDR would post great tips for what to do, where to eat and where to shop in Paris. I looked forward to the posts each morning. I used the Citymapper app every day, several times a day. So easy, we just typed in where we wanted to go and the app would map it all out for us. It allowed us to customize how we wanted to travel and gave us time estimates for each mode of travel. We enjoy using the bus system as it allows us to see more of the city but sometimes the metro is much faster. We loved being able to connect our devices to the wifi on the INSIDR phone. Great for posting on social media or checking our email on the go. The best part of the service was the INSIDR Live function. We could ask a question and someone from INSIDR would answer us! Now that is service! You can't get that with a mifi. We took a few side trips to other parts of France and the phone and wifi works all over France! Formidable! I would recommend INSIDR and will definitely use them on my next trip to France.

I used the mobile phone as a hotspot for my existing phone most of the time. The daily data allowance was more than I could ever have used and was way cheaper than my local carrier was able to offer. But on top of the phone, the concierge service by INSIDR alone would have been worth the cost. It's like having a friend from Paris that answers any question you might have. Need a taxi arranged at the best price to pick you up at a set time...done! They even contacted my bank on my behalf when I was having trouble reaching them (VISA cancelled my cards due to suspected fraud) to get the local access number in Paris. Highly recommended!

Nina was available to answer all our questions, and at one point (when we thought we might need to print out a document) even offered to let us come in to the office and use their printer.
I hadn't thought of it when we booked the Insidr phone, but it made traveling much easier knowing that we had a knowledgeable local available to give us advice or simple answers to questions about navigating the local institutions and way of life. This might only come up once in the course of a trip, but if it involves something absolutely essential that has to be done, it's a lifesaver. This is true even if you speak fluent French. Nina speaks perfect English, and really knows her way around travel, food, lodging, business, government, etc. Other Insidr staff were also helpful.
Picking up the phone at airport (CDG) was a breeze, and mailing it back (from CDG on our way out) was also convenient and allowed us to have and use our phone from beginning to end of our trip.
Hot spot capacity worked great for U.S. phone and laptop. This was vital because free public wifi is not all that available in Paris, so it's great to have your own private wifi everywhere you go. Your companion(s) can bring along their American iPhone(s) etc. and use them anywhere near your Insidr phone for extra navi connections, web surfing, WhatsApp, Facebook messenger, etc. In other words, you don't have to share your Insidr phone, except for ordinary phone calls or SMS.
Battery capacity: we used the Insidr phone heavily all day long, including hot spot use, and still had more than 80% battery left at bedtime.
We paid the small (3 euro per day) fee for unlimited U.S. calls which worked flawlessly and was much more useful, and used, than we had anticipated.
One bit of advice for U.S. travelers: French mailboxes (at least the ones at CDG) have much thinner slots than U.S. mailboxes, so when you put your Insidr phone in the return mailing envelope, you should discard the welcome brochures, then pack the phone and charger cords so as to make it as flat as possible (very easy to do if you're aware of it, otherwise you'll have to do a little wiggling and jiggling to get the envelope through the narrow slot on the yellow French mailbox.

Very happy with the Insidr service. Was worth every penny. Any questions I had were answered promptly. It was like having your own concierge.

Excellent service. Very helpful information on the phone, easy pick up and drop off. Also the texting service is quite useful guiding about things happening in the city and addressing questions about the phone or phone service itself. Will definitely use again on future trips to France.

I used INSIDR Paris’ phone while I was in Paris, Barcelona and Sete for my wedding last year. Their phone was the perfect hotspot and kept me connected. So grateful for their service. I’ll definitely be hitting them up again soon!

When I went on a trip to Paris, I lost the opera glass in the theater．
I was not good at both French and English, and I was in trouble because I could not contact the theater．
So　I chatted with INSIDR and asked for help．
INSIDR kindly helped me .
Thanks to that, I got my Opera Glass.

The Insidr worked great and it was wonderful to have the hotspot with us at all times. The live support was helpful with reserving a taxi for our return and the few other questions that we had. The only problems were at the pick up desk at CDG. We arrived at about 2 PM which appeared to be the change over time for staff. Despite being the only ones at the desk, it took us 45 minutes to pick up our prepaid device with documentation in hand. After the lengthy staff change over, the computer was down and this involved phone calls etc. When we finally got the Insidr, there was only a quick, check the instruction book for any questions, and done we finally were. On the return side, the desk is closed on Saturday, our departure day, and there is no drop box at the desk so we paid extra for a postage paid return envelope. Unbelievably, when you assemble the device in the felt envelope given for all the Insidr equipment and put it in the prepaid envelope and seal it, it will now not quite fit into the slot in the post box at the airport. How difficult could it be to have a secure drop box somewhere? We loved Insidr but some details need smoothing over. In sum, I’d rent it again for the convenience and hope that they have improved delivery and return
