The paywall is a bit cringe, but honestly the worst problem is that the cite no longer works, like I try to do anything and it just doesn't operate
While we don't verify specific claims because reviewers' opinions are their own, we may label reviews as "Verified" when we can confirm a business interaction took place. Read more

Used to be great! Cancelled subscription a long while ago and auto-charged even though it was cancelled. Failed to acknowledge any specifics over email. Well, I cancelled now through PayPal, enjoy the money, last time I am charged, along with this bad review. I do not recommend to anyone.
Inkarnate was once and still could one day be, excellent. Unfortunately, the last year of updates have exacerbated and increased issues and bugs that more often than not fully prevent me from even accessing the site. The service has only got worse in the last 24 months, and is now barely functional at all. Despite using a very powerful PC that was specifically built to handle complex and heavy processing, I still struggle as it usually the server itself struggling to handle data. It's unacceptable.
It would be more worthy of trust if they hadn't run what some might consider to be predatory practices, by increasing the subscription by more than 100% per month, but offering to keep prices fixed for annual subscribers. Of course this happened immediately before the programme became entirely unstable.
This creates a very low level of trust.
I still remember what the free version offered less then a year ago, you could build an entire world with it, recently they've started paywalling everything apart from a few things making it unusable for those who cannot afford a subscription (7.99 btw!)
Its a shame to see such a good site go to waste because of greed, 1/5 will never recommend this site to anybody anymore
Nice and easy to use map-maker.
great graphics too.
