Infinity Properties
Stephanie at Infinity Properties was very helpful as were all staff during my time in dealing with them. Wouldn't hesitate to use infinity properties again. Very professional & very decent company
Fantastic Experience
I only recently moved to Glasgow an as most letting agents didn't even bother replying to my applications, I was very positively surprised when Sharon called me and took the time to answer all my questions and arranged the viewing. As I was still living in Manchester, it was very pleasant that there was no issue having one of my new colleagues attending and having me on Videocall. Sharon and Charlene then guided me though the whole process and again answered all my questions to make my move a relaxed experience. On my moving day, when trying the house key the first time, I realised that they only fitted to the back but not the front door. Well, a quick call and 45min later Ann was at the house with the right set of keys.
When experienceing a small maintenance issue with the tap in the kitchen Zoe was a very big help in organising a plumber and keeping me up to date with the process.
All in all, I haven't experienced such a well organised, friendly and helpful team of letting agents so far and can't recommend Infiniti Properties enough.
Great and quick service, recommend it
We have been renting a flat with Infiniti Properties for the last 3 years. Every time we have had any maintenance issues over this period of time, they were resolved very quickly with the support of Zoe Connelly and we were satisfied with how they were dealt with. Overall, we are pleased with Infiniti Properties' service and the way we have been treated by Zoe and her colleagues. We would definitely recommend them.
Made the whole process of moving in…
Made the whole process of moving in very straightforward. Quick, helpful responses to questions and queries. Sharon was excellent to deal with from first contact to move in.
Feel at home!
Great people, professional and warm.
They care about their tenants and frequently be in touch for any questions we may have. We moved last august to one of their properties in Shettleston, though they were few challenges they made sure we were given alternatives and proper compensation and benefits to manage. Everyone in Infiniti property are extremely friendly and helpful at all times. Open, transparent and very reliable to suggestions and discussions. Understood our needs from the very beginning we moved in and gave us ideas on how to sort out issues when approached. Thank you so much for all the support and guidance throughout.
I strongly recommend.
New Washer
Needed washing machine replaced and was very quickly sorted out with a replacement. Zoe was extremely fast and helpful at contacting and organising a quote with the repairmet. Thanks Zoe !
Excellent service with great…
Excellent service with great communication all the way through the process.
Thanks to Zoe.
Urgent Property Needed!
I required a property urgently and I seen one with infiniti properties, they went out there way to accommodate and were warm and friendly, especially Sharon. She was working alongside my needs and was not the least bit annoyed that I kept calling. She was nothing short of amazing with everything and she didn't just find a property, she found me a home for my family and I. Would highly recommend.
Moving to the new property was as easy as it could be
Moving from another country to UK- Glasgow could not have been smoother without the help from Infiniti property.
Everything related to moving to the new property was taken care of by the team once my application was selected
Excellent Professional Service
The service provided by Infiniti Properties is excellent and professional, as a new landlord I had lots of questions every day, Stephanie always answered my questions and walked the extra mile to provide a fantastic service, when she is busy she will call me back right away, I have never had a delay in answering my calls and/or question, staff were friendly and professional, for all these reasons I highly recommend Infiniti Properties to landlords and tenants.
Terrible leasing Glasgow Agent
Terrible leasing Glasgow Agent, they are a must avoid, the stress when leaving was deplorable, we employed Mary Poppins to clean the gaff, but wasn’t good enough and they overcharged inexcusably .
All the bad qualities of a toxic…
All the bad qualities of a toxic letting agency that you could encounter, Infiniti provides you with.
Do not get a flat with this agency unless you are really priviliged financially and don't care about your privacy being invaded (especially if you're not a UK national) or your deposit definitely not being not returned fully for unrealistic reasons.
I have never seen such extremism, they literally carry inventory checks with tiny rulers and zoomed in pictures of dust particles and a random strand of hair, like it's food health services at a restaurant.
Trust and believe THEY WILL CHARGE you for 'cleaning' those said particles and ONE strand of hair when in fact they should sanitise the house before any new tenants anyways?
But if that isn't enough, they proceed to release the deposit 45 days later, and only after we mention shelter scotland in emails.
Ironic since when it came to rent payments, they were VERY fast to send multiple emails about it.
For such an eye for details, you would think the flat was in pristine condition, but no!
The flat is situated in the most FILTHY, infamous building complex in Glasgow, where drugs, broken bottles, condoms and needles could be found at the staircases.
I also had to email them multiple times throughout the year to fix stuff that were broken from the beggining of the tenancy (that they also failed to mention in their extremely detailed inventory checks.)
There is a fine line between being extremely professional and being inhuman, and they definitely cross that line.
The amount of mental distress that they caused me this past year is simply not worth it.
Worst treatment I ever had in any company in the UK
I believe everyone should avoid any contracts with this company, and I will explain why:
- When I applied for the flat, they took 1 month to answer. I had given up and was almost closing the deal for another flat when, suddenly, Infiniti Properties told me I was approved.
- When I moved in, the washing machine and the buzzer were not working, and the letterbox was damaged beyond usage. They took six months to fix the letterbox, and around the same time to fix the buzzer. The washing machine is another story:
- They sent three different technicians to fix the machine. One of them destroyed the doors and dragged the machine around, damaging the floor. At the time (more than an year ago) I sent them pictured of what happened (of what THEIR PROFESSIONAL did), and they didn't do anything. Now I left the apartment and I'm trying to claim my deposit and they are saying that the damages done by the professional THEY SENT is my fault, and they are "investigating" it.
- There was a leakage in the apartment. I told them about it, and it took them 2 months to do something. Somebody showed up, but didn't fix anything. Then, I hadto leave the apartment for months, because I had lost a loved one in my original country. When I told infiniti that the apartment was empty (and I had to be away for a few months) they got desperate and, suddenly, decided to fix the leakage. They had, of course, to break in the flat to do so.
- When I handed over the keys to the apartment after I left this month, I had to go personally to their office to do so. Since I didn't have any information on when I would get my deposit money back, or the money I had overpaid for rent that month, I decided to ask them in person. They treated me in a very rude manner, shooing me away from the office, saying they would send me an e-mail.
- I'm a foreigner and I just want to do things the right way. To avoid hiring lawyers or professionals to help me, I decided to ask them some questions, since this is the first time I've ever rented an apartment in Scotland. As of now, Infiniti Properties has not given me any position on my deposit money, saying that they are "investigating" the issue. They avoid explaining me anything, giving me dates or values, and circle around my questions. Nobody helps me, nobody cares to give me any information, and in general this has been the worst treatment I had with any company in the UK.
Terrible relations with costumers, terrible services, nothing they do is on time. I can't understand how they are still in the market, really. They way I was treated makes it look like it is a fundamental thing in the company, far beyond happening only with me.
Poor customer service
Poor customer service, hard to get in touch with and when you do they are far from helpful. Seemingly intentionally obstructive when it came to trying to request deposit money back. Just not a great company all around, I will be avoiding them in the future.
Avoid renting at all costs
Avoid renting at all costs. Actively breaks the code of conduct. Dishonest, unprofessional, and vindictive organization and people.
Code of conduct violations:
21. You must carry out the services you provide to landlords or tenants using reasonable care and skill and in a timely way.
26. You must respond to enquiries and complaints within reasonable timescales and in line with your written agreement.
90. Repairs must be dealt with promptly and appropriately having regard to their nature and urgency and in line with your written procedures.
91. You must inform the tenant of the action you intend to take on the repair and its likely timescale.
93. If there is any delay in carrying out the repair and maintenance work, you must inform the landlords, tenants or both as appropriate about this along with the reason for it as soon as possible.
Of the many issues, I feel it important to highlight two. While viewing the flat, I noticed a wet spot over the bed. Instead of fixing it, they decided to paint it over causing BLACK MOLD to develop over my head. All attempts at requesting maintenance through Property File, calls, and emails were either ignored or, after many many attempts, acknowledged then never followed up or actioned. Anytime I asked for a manager to speak to they were not available and never called back. After a month, I tried explaining I would be reporting this health issue to city council. To which, I received more silence and incompetence. Only after directly contacting the landlord's maintenance man and cutting the letting agency out of any and all communication did I get BLACK MOLD removed from the place I slept every night (September-December).
While trying to secure a new flat due to displeasure with Infinity and a more favorable price elsewhere, they refused to provide a reference without a fee. While I am new to Scotland, I went off the advice of other letting agencies and landlords that this practice wasn't allowed. As a result, I disputed the practice. After a short back and forth via email, Anne McPartlin mentioned a "good will gesture" and would write a reference directly to the new agency. She then proceeded to vindictively lie and write a dishonest reference causing me to lose the flat. Luckily, after reporting this to the landlord, I no longer work with this agency and work directly with a gentleman that works directly with the landlord.
Anne McPartlin, Stephanie Williamson, Angie Wylie, and Amy Martin have all either been incompetent, rude, unresponsive, and dishonest at some point of my tenancy. They have absolutely no care in the world about anything other than payments. My experience with this company will stick with me and I will strongly advise anyone I speak to to avoid them. If giving no stars was a possibility then I would.
Use another estate agent!
Hopelessly incompetent staff that could not have done more to make the experience of finding a rental property in Glasgow more stressful and difficult. It took 3 weeks after I had put down a deposit on a rental flat (to have it removed from the market) for them to facilitate the necessary credit checks and report back to the property owner on the best options for them. Their illogically complicated process costs the landlords rental time and leaves the potential tenant completely in the dark throughout the process. It took days for them to answer even the simplest of questions and the staff seemed completely clueless. Customer service would be hilarious were it not for the seriousness of acquiring property. Honestly, even if they represent a property that you really like think long and hard about having anything to do with this lot - is it really worth the stress?
