Good customer service | Poor quality | Refund options
I bought two items online - a trench and a blouse. Both arrived in good time and were actually well packed (so 2 stars for this). However, the quality was poor and the trench had a strange chemical smell. For the amount of money this company asks for these items - it's unacceptable.
So obviously I filled in the return form and returned the items.
While filling in the return form there is an option to choose the form of the refund - I chose money back refund.
Now the situation is as follows - items have arrived back to them, but instead of the refund (money back), the company is offering special codes (for a slightly larger sum actually) to be used on their webpage in order to purchase new/other items. But I wanted a simple refund, money back.
I wrote to their customer service and I will be updating my review to let you know how it goes.
Update:
The response from customer service came promptly and there is no problem - they will proceed with the refund as I wished.
So with regard to this, I am changing my review to 3:
+ received the items purchased in good time
+ items came well packed
- wasn't satisfied with the quality of the items
- was surprised about the codes sent initially instead of the refund
+ received positive feedback from their customer service promptly
All in all, I wish this company good luck and hope they can upgrade the quality of their goods.
