Kenya & Tanzania
For me it was like going home. I knew the lodges and the people working their. They recognized me from a prior trip two years ago. The tour itself does not need much improvement, I would just suggest to get the flight into destination in the morning of the day before instead of late evening so as the clients have some time to relax and unwind before hitting the road running. The flights are not good, such long layovers. What happened to supporting Canada. I know there are flights that stay in Canada because some of my clients had that route. I gather the flight through the USA is probably cheaper and so that what we get but that is not ideal at all. Most of the clientele are older retired people it is to difficult for them. The tour operators are great would not change them at all. They are very knowledgeable, polite and kind. The tour itself much better now that you have included the Hot Air Balloon excursion as I requested. It is most clients highlight besides seeing the animals close & personal.
Why Indus is outstanding
I have used Indus Travels as my travel partner for many years. I organize groups of 20-50 travelers and the staff at Indus is always very responsive to the needs of my travel groups. What sets Indus apart: technology (which makes it easy to sign up, make payments, view itineraries/hotels in their app), staff (highly communicative professionals) and value (their pricing is lower than their competitors). I'm pleased to continue working with their team and give them the highest recommendation.
India & Maldives Trip with Indus Travel
We were in India and we booked through Indus Travel . They provided excellent service and the arrangements they made for us was very much appreciated
Ecuador, Galapagos and Peru
Our group recently traveled to Ecuador, the Galapgos Islands and Peru with Indus.
The service we received from our guides at every location was excepyional. The local guides are what make the trips truly special, as they share their personal knowledge of the area with travelers and you get more than just tourism locations. They sprinkle in a lot of local flavor, as well.
The hotels were located right in the heart of each location, which is wonderful for walking when you have free time to explore.
The activites selected in each location are carefully curated so you have unique experiences that are truly reflect the region you are visiting. There is always free time built into the schedule for exploration, which my travelers really enjoy.
An Indus guided trip was a great choice to explore Vietnam and Singapore
Choosing Indus for my travel to a country that I have never been before and do not speak the language was a great decision. They make things so worry free and easy.
I just wake up each morning and meet my guide ad driver and they do all the rest. I never would have known what to do at the Saigon airport without the help of our guide.
Professional, Seamless, Luxurios and Truly Memorable
I did a multicity trip with Indus Travels this past December, where I travelled to Dubai, Abu Dhabi, and Oman. The experience was top notch from start to finish. Navigating multiple borders and diverse terrains like Jabal Akhdar can be tricky, but Indus team made it look easy. The accommodations were super luxurious, and the local insights provided throughout the trip added so much value to the journey. Whether we were in the heart of the city or the rugged mountains of Muscat, I felt well taken care of. Looking forward to my next adventure with them soon!
I just returned from a trip to Ireland…
I just returned from a trip to Ireland with Indus Travels. I had a great time! Everything was easy from airport pick up, to knowledgeable driver, to wonderful hotels. The food was outstanding. Along the way from Dublin to Limerick we stopped at many places, not just tourist sites. Highlights were Newbridge Silverware with an outstanding afternoon tea; Galway was my favorite city; Cliffs of Moher; St. Johns Castle; Battle of the Boyne-Oldbridge Estate. Pearse Lyons Distillery; Trinity College and the Book of Kells Experience; Guided tour of St. Patrick's Cathedral; and the incredible Guinness Brewery! Our last night we had dinner and music at Merry Ploughboys Pub! A must stop!!! Highly recommend Indus Travels.
Fiji was Fabulous
I recently spent nine days at Naviti Resort on Fiji and it was a wonderful experience. I have never been a place more friendly and customer-conscience. What enhanced my stay was the thorough preparation I received from Indus Travel. Well before the departure date, I received pages of information acquainting me with the culinary, the currency, and the customs, to name just a few. All prepaid activities, including the flights, went 100% smoothly, and all my questions and requests were handled promptly, making my trip stress-free. This was especially appreciated since I was a solo traveler, I really I cannot say enough good things about my experience with Indus Travel and will certainly travel with Indus again.

Indus tours are hit and miss
Indus tours are hit and miss. They do-not organize their own tours. They are agents of other tour organizers. They do not disclose every thing upfront. Often there is confusion between them and providers. I have taken two tours with them. 7 days tour of Turkey had no more than 8 people in a bus of 40+ people. We were the 4 out of 8. Other four changed twice. Hotels were switched without our knowledge but alternates were also excellent. Our second tour was 10 days long, Highlights of Scandinavia. It was a disaster. Tour was provided by Europamundo of Spain. A week before tour start we received a final itinerary which had more details and timing of daily activity. This shocked us. Hotels will advised 48 hours prior to tour start only. All hotels were changed to lower quality and away from city center. On thre days we would arrive at destination at 7:30 or 8:30 pm. On these dinner will be from Super Markets. You are not allowed to eat or snack on the bus. Bus had 71 people. Tour was conducted in three language with very minimal info about the places. You have to by water bottles from the driver ir bring your own. Chinese speaking guide reserved seats for his passengers. No seat rotation. No baggage porter service. Worst on the day one we were asked to bring our bags to lobby. Only to be told to take them back to two of the rooms. I was shocked as chosen rooms were that of mine and my friend. Fairfield by Marriott gave the keys of our rooms to the guides, without our knowledge. Ladies were still dressing when guides opened the room to usher other passengers to store their bags. Guide was surprised that were still in their at 7:30 AM!!! sightseeing was driving by and only in three cities. In Copenhagen free time was given far away from the prime attraction. I do not recommend this company to book your escorted tours.

I went on this cruise as a solo…
I went on this cruise as a solo traveler and I didn’t feel lonely once. The best part of this trip was being around other solo travelers. We were all in this together (literally) and soon bonded over breakfasts on deck. Beautiful French towns, sunny days, and my favorite place of this tour Lyon, I miss all of this. Indus made everything seamless. Logistics, tasty food and comfortable accommodations, everything was taken care of perfectly. By the end of this trip we all became really good friends and are still in touch with each other. I would suggest every person should travel solo once in their lifetime.

Disappointing Solo Trip Experience to Ecuador and Peru
As a traveler who has worked with multiple travel agencies, I feel it’s important to share my recent experience with Indus Travel (IT) to help others make informed choices. I booked a solo trip to Ecuador and Peru with IT, but unfortunately, several aspects of the service fell well below expectations.
1. Unrefunded Cancellation and Lack of Transparency:
My first booking with IT was for a solo Egypt trip scheduled for 2022, which they canceled. Rather than offering a refund—which is a standard practice under basic consumer protection laws—I was told a travel voucher was the only option available, which raised serious concerns about accountability and transparency. Though I could have disputed the charge with my credit card company, I chose to apply the funds toward a trip to Peru. In hindsight, this was a mistake. A company that refuses to refund a canceled trip is not honoring its obligations to its customers and should be approached with caution.
2. Hotel Upgrade Not Delivered as Promised:
I paid an additional $725 for an upgraded “Deluxe” hotel package over nine nights. However, three of those nights were downgraded to standard accommodations without prior notice. After raising the issue mid-trip, IT admitted the error, attributing it to a lapse in communication with their local operator. Yet, their compensation offer was just $100—far from adequate or fair. A third of my hotel stay was not what I paid for, and their resolution was disappointing.
3. Inadequate Flight Arrangements and Poor Communication:
IT handled both my international and domestic flights. While international flights included a checked bag, nearly all domestic flights only allowed one small personal item under the seat—no carry-on, no checked baggage. Rather than contacting me for the option to purchase prepaid luggage check-in, they purchased no baggage allowance, send you the tickets, and then expect you to contact the airlines for baggage arrangements. As a result, I paid the airline directly $171 in unexpected baggage fees. For a company advertising “your entire holiday is designed around your requirements,” failing to offer appropriate pre-paid baggage options is inexcusable, especially for a 10-day tour.
4. Disconnected and Unreliable Local Operations:
IT outsources its on-the-ground operations to third-party local agencies—in this case, Condor Travels (CT)—which leads to poor coordination and inconsistent service:
• Pickups were routinely late, including a critical airport transfer that was nearly an hour off schedule.
• Daily agendas were never confirmed in advance, leaving me uncertain each night about the following day’s plans.
• My return airport transfer showed a 2:00 p.m. pickup on the IT itinerary, but the local team scheduled it for 2:50 p.m.—a stressful and unnecessary discrepancy, and then arrived at the hotel at 3:10 p.m.
• Two Galapagos excursions had misleading or incomplete descriptions. One involved four hours of open-water snorkeling—nowhere mentioned in the itinerary—which could pose serious challenges for travelers with physical limitations or those unprepared for such activity.
• Return transport was missing after both Galapagos excursions, requiring me to find my own way back to the hotel.
• In Ollantaytambo, a key transfer point en route to Machu Picchu, the guide was over 25 minutes late, leaving me wandering the town square to determine what I was going to do as I received no reply from repeated calls and text messages to the local operator.
Final Thoughts:
While the destinations themselves—along with the people and rich cultures of Ecuador and Peru—were truly extraordinary, the experience orchestrated by Indus Travel significantly detracted from the journey. Their inability to deliver on commitments, lack of transparency, and disjointed operations overshadowed the potential of what could have been a memorable adventure. I strongly urge prospective travelers to consider other operators—especially those who provide reliable communication, transparent policies, and direct oversight of the travel experience.

Exploring Lima’s colonial charm
Exploring Lima’s colonial charm, flying over the Andes, and hiking through the Amazon made this tour a once-in-a-lifetime journey. You must choose this one- no double thoughts, go for it!

How fortunate I felt to see the Big 5 on my first game drive alone is beyond words. The trip got off to a perfect start. The remainder of the tour was equally fantastic. Extremely joyful!

A Taste of Portugal was a wonderful way…
A Taste of Portugal was a wonderful way to explore the country. We walked through the cobblestone streets of Lisbon and enjoyed a delicious Pastel de Nata in Belem. Seeing the huge waves in Nazare and visiting the beautiful Monastery of Batalha were amazing. Loved our time in Porto, which had great views and a lively atmosphere. The hotels were comfortable, the transfers were smooth, and the guide was very knowledgeable.
Highly recommend this tour for anyone visiting Portugal!

Low-Quality Accommodations and Poor Planning
Indus Travels really let us down. The hotels were not up to standard, and some locations were far from the city center, making it inconvenient to explore. We spent more time commuting than enjoying our destinations. Very disappointed with their planning and choices for accommodations.

Poor Customer Support and Delayed Responses
My trip was almost ruined due to Indus Travels' poor customer service. Any time I had a question or concern, it would take days to get a response. For an international trip, this lack of support was unacceptable. I wouldn't recommend Indus if you value timely assistance and transparency.

Misleading Itinerary and Hidden Costs
I booked with Indus Travels expecting a seamless experience, but the trip was filled with unexpected costs. The itinerary was misleading, with lots of additional charges for things that should have been included. It was disappointing to feel nickel-and-dimed at every turn. I won’t be using their services again.
