I’m a university professor, and Impulse Travel did an outstanding job facilitating our reporting expedition in Colombia. This was our second trip with them (our first focused on music; this one explored the Colombian coffee trade), and once again their planning, logistics, and on-the-ground support were excellent.

Impulse Travel, and specifically Felipe Cadena, organized a three-week trip for me and my 82-year-old mother through Colombia. What a great job!
- he answered dozens of questions very promptly and patiently.
- gave suggestions on the itinerary based on our specific needs and abilities (greatly appreciated!).
- arranged all the details in this long and complicated itinerary.
- stayed in touch throughout the whole trip allowing and taking care of a couple of small adjustments.
What we found particularly IMPRESSIVE and UNIQUE was:
- Felipe's engagement of LOCAL people and his effort to have us interact and learn about local/indigenous people, history and culture of each area we visited.

As one who designed and led small group trips for many years, I know well how much goes into planning, preparing and facilitating travel experiences, particularly those intended to yield beneficial impacts for local communities; micro-entrepreneurs, small business owners, and employees; our planet; and the hearts and minds of travelers.
