Race day was superbly organized. Although the training came at a high cost, I secured and paid for a complimentary ski session through the slope’s website, only to discover on the day that it wasn't available to the public, which left me disappointed. Fortunately, the NSSA addressed and resolved the matter to our satisfaction.

We had Grace for private lessons recently and she was exceptional - great service all round.

Responded to our very specific needs and delivered great training.

Yesterday's Open Schools Nationals was a great event, very well organised and managed, and everybody their looked to be having a great time with good competitive racing.

Thank you Phil and team for giving the students a great opportunity to gather evidence for their GCSE and A level PE.

Great events held by the NSSA that bridge the gap for kids who can ski but aren’t ready for a club yet, all the way to experienced racers. Friendly and inclusive atmosphere. Highly recommended.

Nice race event even if the weather was a bit unpleasant. It would be much better if we found out the race times / winners on the day. also it would be nice if there were trophies/ medals / certificates or something for the winners, especially for the younger age groups.

Always a great experience with Impulse, some useful training to warm the competitors up before the race. My junior skier had a great time, the wind and rain didn’t dampen her spirits. Looking forward to the next one.

Absolutely superb experience for my 7yr old snowboarders first orientation programme for the NSSAs. Very well run, co-ordinated and put together from their training time at Greystone and then at the Chill Factore. The snowboarding coach from Scotland they flew in for the young snowboarders was fantastic! Jack - Jacques from Glasgow, he taught them all sorts of new carves, turns and stops

Impulse Racing and NSSA races are always well organised and well run. They stick to their schedule and keep the event moving through the day, regardless of how many racers they seem to have. We've been to small outdoor races as well as their bigger indoor events and it's always a slick operation, with enough competent staff on site and on the slope to deal with any issues. The format of their races, taking individual as well as team entries is very inclusive and ensures anyone can get involved. The coaching that they offer before the races is also great as a confidence booster for any children who may be new to racing.

Well run event, kept to time. Most importantly there was a really supportive environment, so the kids have fun doing it. The instructors were friendly and helpful to the children, and it was a great idea to have some pre race training on the same day, so those coming from further can make the mos of the day. Thank you for a very enjoyable day!

Impulse has provided their services for the Independent Ski School Championships for many years and I have personally worked with him for the last two years on the event. Phil is the ultimate expert and professional, whilst being flexible and adaptable, and always is on hand to assist with his experience and knowledge.

Professional, fun and kind to the kids

We’ll organised race day. Training was expensive, so I booked and paid for a free ski session online with the slope only to be told on the day that the slope was not open to the public, which was frustrating. NSSA have since resolved the issue to our satisfaction.

My daughter was first timer at racing and really enjoyed the session. The coaching was helpful. The snow quality was a bit icy.
