I traveled to Turkey for a hair transplant with Dr. İlhan Serdaroğlu, and I couldn’t be more grateful that I chose him.

After extensive research, I selected him for his qualifications, experience, and thoughtful responses to all my questions beforehand. When I arrived, he took the time to get to know me, understand the outcome I hoped for, and make sure I felt comfortable with the procedure ahead.

I especially appreciated that he sees only one patient per day and was directly involved throughout my procedure. His two assistants have worked with him for over 15 years, and their experience together became invaluable when my procedure took an unexpected turn.

About three hours into what was expected to be a seven-hour procedure, I was feeling significant pain despite the local anesthesia. Dr. Serdaroğlu explained that he had reached the maximum amount he could safely administer. Rather than asking me to endure it (which there is no way I could have done), he arranged for an anesthesiologist to make a special trip to his office so the procedure could be completed comfortably.

What happened next says so much about this team. Dr. Serdaroğlu and the anesthesiologist provided that additional care as a professional courtesy, without charging me extra. I was overwhelmed by their kindness, professionalism, and patience.

It became a 10.5-hour day, yet nobody made me feel like a burden or an inconvenience. They continued caring for me with grace, reassurance, and pride in their work. Having a doctor who was fully present and a team that knew each other so well made an enormous difference.

It’s still early in my recovery, so this review is about the experience and care I received. On that front, I cannot recommend Dr. Serdaroğlu and his team highly enough. They were worth every dollar and more, and I left knowing I had made the right decision.

Finally, today is the day after - I am pain free and have no doubt the procedure was a success. I look forward to seeing the results!

I had a great experience with Dr. Serdaroglu for my hair transplant. I found him on the registry of the International Society of Hair Restoration Surgeons. he took lots of time before my travel to answer my questions and make sure I was a good candidate for hair transplant. on the day of the procedure, Dr Sergaroglu harvested my grafts and made the incisions himself, then his technicians placed them.

the operation was less than a week ago so I don't have long-term results to report but from what I know now, I fully recommend Dr Sergaroglu.
