Good price / quality and on time delivery

Ordered for delivery many times in France. Always good delivery service, reasonably quick and on time. Agediss who deliver are always friendly and on time even though we live in a remote location. Products are good quality for the price.

Pieces, Missing

I organise and paid somebody to come in to fit the wardrobes today that I bought on Sunday. One of the wardrobes has come without a back when I spoke to Customer Service the young lady was very understanding but could not get it to me until Tuesday next week, which is so annoying as, it is a row of four and they cannot be completed until this arrives. So the room is still unable to use it really disappointed but by the looks of this rating for IKEA they don’t care about their Customer service. Unbelievable company like this Customer Service is rated so badly.

No help after buying.

I purchased a symfonisk speaker and shade for £180 and after 15 months stopped working.phoned customer services expecting some help but got no assistance at all. We have been regular customers in the past but never again, take my advice and shop elsewhere!

Beyond crazy bad experience

Beyond crazy bad experience! I was suppose to get a mattress swapped due to a faulty. The old mattress was collected, with the delivery of the new one from lakeside store being cancelled with no notification. After numerous emails and phone calls they now booked new mattress to be sent to London (we live in Sevenoaks , Kent), on Sunday 6 nights from when the original delivery was suppose to due. Customer services are literally ignoring all attempts to complain about the situation and no one seems to care to resolve this mess. Disgusting

I love the shop and their products but…

I love the shop and their products but the phone customer service is appalling if something goes wrong.
I bought 4 kitchen cupboard doors and the colours don’t match so I asked for an exchange for 4 that do. These also don’t match and neither do any of the 8! I spent an hour on the phone on queues, each time being cut off for no apparent reason. I have wasted a lot of time on this, arranging for people to fit them etc and now I’m stuck with 8 cupboard doors that don’t match and no way of getting a refund or quality checked exchange. Not to mention that I have an I completed kitchen without doors!

Ikea

Ikea, Tinsley, Sheffield was the WORST shopping experience we as a family have ever had. We were treated like dirt by a staff member, Helen.
We visited Ikea in Sheffield for the very first time.
The singage in this Ikea store in Sheffield is virtually non-existent. The car park is too small.
It is very hard to find the poducts on display. The items for sale are nowhere near the models on display. All of the staff terminals had 'Closed' signs on display. Staff members are non-existant.
Whilst we were using the self-service till to purchase our items we found ourselves accosted by a female Ikea staff member with the name badge, Helen. She aggressively inferred we had not paid for a teddy bear we had just scanned and paid for. She demanded to see our receipts. We showed her these with immediate effect. She did not apologies for inferring we were attempting to shoplift. We were and remain deeply offened by her inference and aggressive behaviour. We asked her if she insulted us because one of us is black African and our daughter dual heritage. She refused to answer.
In all the years we have been shopping we have never been so insulted as we were on this our first (and last) visit to Ikea, Sheffield.
The staff member in question, Helen, urgently requires crash courses in Equality, Diversity and Inclusion (EDI) Awareness, and rudimentary customer care skills.
We are absolutely appalled, disgusted and offended at Helen's discriminatory behaviour. We did not observe any other customers being mistreated in the way we were.
Is shoplifting may be an issue in Ikea, Sheffield.? We have no idea. We are not from Sheffield. We had travelled all the way from the East Riding. As we told her, we are law-abiding, taxpaying citizens. The inference we would shoplift is incredibly offensive. Moreover, we are practicing Christians and would most certainly never steal. Were we targeted as one of us is black, another dual heritage?
We were considering taking out an Ikea card. More chance of finding life on Mars than this happening now!
It was also disclosed Ikea Sheffield staff trained to conduct random checks on customers at tills. Was I targeted for a random check as I am black?
We will most certainly never again shop at Ikea. we would advise other black customers to avoid shopping at Ikea, especially in Sheffield.
Email received from manager at Sheffield Ikea. Apologetic and informed us staff member in question to receive additional training. All to be welcomed, however, in spite of expressed hope we will return as Ikea customers, no offer of anything tangible to ameliorate the disgusting manner in which we were mistreated.
Manager has since offered £25 voucher, which has been accepted. Awaiting confirmation as to how we will receive this.

RUDE ARROGANT PHONE AFTER-SALE STAFF!

I bought a kit for a wardrobe “Skytta” and simply called to ask where main installation manual for the item was . My first 3 attempts to get through ended in someone hanging up n me bizarrely? I persisted and finally got through, I asked them where can I locate the instruction and I was asked question after question regarding the exact make and model. I explained what I had bought but it wasn’t good enough I didn’t possess the receipt. I asked to speak to a supervisor because someone with basic knowledge of the store would be able to explain where I can locate the instructions. Before I could go any further they just hung up!!!🤬 I called again and managed to get through to MRS ANASKA who also couldn’t help me she was extremely rude talking over me as if she was more importan. Clearly in the wrong job probablywould’ve made a better traffic warden!
Disgraceful behaviour from the store staff . I paid £500 for my item and this is the after service!!!🤬 Never going there again.

I am very disappointed 😞

I am very disappointed 😞
I usually love to shop at ikea. I bought some plates recently and when when this went into the microwave it just broke into half with my food inside I was so shocked. It was my son's food and I was glad that the one that noticed before someone end up with piece of plate in the stomach. I strongly recommend that they remove the product before a serious incident happens.

*Billy range

*Billy range - cupboards, bookcase, white

1. three manufacturing errors in parts - split chipboard in door frame, damaged edges
2. very, very low quality, the white covering on the chipboard is very thin and fragile. The slightest knock damages it and it's thus unsuitable for any serious use as furniture
3. the cut-out for a skirting board looks like a good idea but is not. It does not relate to modern skirting board sold in France - it's too wide and not tall enough. So, to fit around a skirting board you have to extend to match the profile. This means you end up with a strange looking shape plus the fragility of the product leads to chipping around the cut. So...you then have to make something to cover all this up!

Sh** customer service- but considering what others writethey don’t care

Called customer service 40 minutes before closing. After 10 minutes First Lady told me logistics is not the right one and gave me the “right” service spare parts to call again. After further 20 minutes a guy tells me he isn’t the right service either, the first should have helped me. So 10 minutes before the end I’m am back in the waiting loop and of course no one picks up anymore. No chance to actually complain of a missing part of a delivery, because IKEA isn’t offering this option in the self service. Super bad experience.

I paid 39 euro delivery costs for them to "forget" many articles. Customer service just told me I can get the money back for the missing articles and re-order, just to pay the 39 euro again!!! Very poor service!
