Inability to log in to my account
Yesterday, I experienced a great deal of frustration trying to log in to my account, but without success!
I telephoned customer services and spoke to an extremely knowledgable and helpful gentleman called Harris.He was very patient and empathetic and did his best to assist me, but told me that the problem needed further investigation. He said he would get back to me at a time of my choosing today, which he did. With the help of the IT team he was able to rectify the issue and assured me that the problem was not of my making! Access via LPA

That's what I call Customer Service
I can't speak highly enough of the assistance given by Sara in Customer Services who spent a considerable amount of time resolving a complex problem (which had been of my own making!). Relative beginners in using ii, as well as those who are not necessarily overly confident with computing issues, the sympathetic and helpful reception given by ii a real confidence boost.

ii customer service is exemplary....real humans focussed on assisting their clients. Farhana sorted my question v promptly today and I got the answer I semi wanted.
Wish list: most of my trades are US$. Their fx conversion rates are extortionate. = 1.5% for £ to $ and 1.5% back again = 3% per transaction overhead as you can only hold £ in your isa a/c, PLUS trading costs.....ouch! Thats roughly equivalent to the total dividend many companies pay me, so no trading profit possible.
There's loads of a/c data held but you can only 'view' most of it. Obviously we cant expect ii to offer endless reports but it would be good to be able to download more of the info to Excel for me to manipulate off site.
So while nothing in this life is perfect, in general ii is a 4.5* broker. Recommend.

I was unable to access my account due to a technical glitch. I phoned ii and spoke to Theresa. She was able to resolve my problem very efficiently indeed. Its clear that ii has a very competent customer services team.

It sounds from other reviews that II has an excellent staff and I would recommend them strongly for an ISA account.
