Doesn’t honour the ANRA supermarket code of conduct
This supermarket chain does not honour the code of conduct established by the Australian National Retailers Association (ANRA) regarding items that are priced wrongly at checkout. One of their stores substantially overcharged me and refused to honour the supermarket code of conduct (first mispriced item free, as a punitive penalty, and subsequent items at the correct price) when I took the trouble to present evidence to them.
If tables had been turned, and I’d stolen a product worth some dollars from them, you can be sure that police would be involved.
This was my first go at shopping at an IGA in some time; and I know from experience that both Woolworths and Coles are far superior in their adherence to this policy. Will not be patronising IGA again.
