Raising the floor level, erection of a stud partition wall within the garage (to create a pantry), with lighting, plastered, hanging a new door, rehanging the original fire door, skirting and architrave. Plus installed a new exterior security light with PIR sensor.

Paul provided an excellent service, and quality of work. He was extremely polite, tidy and a pleasure to have around. We are very satisfied with his work and highly recommend him. We will be using him again in the near future.

Paul built our extension and also converted our downstairs loo into a shower room. He and his various co-workers were simply superb from start to finish. Paul is very experienced in all aspects of building and we felt very confident, and as relaxed as one can be when undergoing building work. He was always pleasant, polite and more than willing to explain the details of where we were up to, and what he intended to do in the next few days so we could plan accordingly. When problems arose, as they inevitably do, he had a very positive constructive attitude and soon came up with an acceptable workable solution. Everything has been completed to a very high standard and we are very pleased with the finished work. He became one of the family during the 7 months he was on site and it actually felt a bit sad to see him finally go. We recommend this company without hesitation.

Paul Islip installed a metal Catnic roof for us on a large extension. They were very straightforward to deal with in the lead up to the work, competitive on price, turned up when they said they would and we’re an absolute pleasure to have on site, completing the work cheerfully in poor weather conditions.

We had a three metre by 9 metre extension on the back of our house, the garage was converted into a useable room, and a downstairs shower room. This gave us a huge kitchen, study and a place for the children to hide! Amazingly this was a great experience considering we didn’t have to move out and even more amazing is it came in on budget. Paul was full of great ideas and when he found a problem rather than sigh and say that will cost you, he gave positive solutions which he delivered on. Paul has transformed the way we live and we are eternally grateful.

IDC Joinery and Building have completed two projects at my house. A small extension to the front and a stunning patio at the rear. Paul and his team are always punctual, friendly and courteous. Their work is of the highest standard and the site is always left neat and tidy throughout the job.
