The very bad experience I had with this platform was the delay in support response. Is it possible for someone to go on vacation twice a month and leave the customer waiting for their return from vacation? I really recommend not going for this platform!

My journey with iBanFirst has been a rollercoaster of frustration, making it the most disappointing banking experience I've ever had. Here's the short of it:
- Money Trapped: After taking my money, they bombarded me with demands for strange documents. Even when I did what they asked, they wouldn't let my payments through and coming in.
- Account Limbo: Out of nowhere, they warned me my account would close if there were no incoming transactions for two months. Then, they flipped the script, saying I couldn't make any outgoing transactions, trapping my money inside.
- Compliance Cluelessness: Their compliance team seems to live on a different planet. They asked for personal details about my clients that were none of their business, showing they don't understand or care about how the real world works.
In essence, dealing with iBanFirst has been a lesson in what not to look for in a bank. It's cost me clients, projects, and peace of mind. My advice? If you hear "iBanFirst," run the other way to protect your money and sanity.

We used to use Cornhill FX but had to move to ibanfirst in March 2023 after they acquired Cornhill. I had to completely re-do a verification process including sending documents several times even though I had been a client of Cornhill for about 15 years. I was given an online account which I could not access and technical support could not resolve. I did a transfer in March that took over a week to complete and I did a trade for Euros on 6th December and I have still not received the funds into my account in Spain.
I am blocked from my account so I cannot sign in and emails sent to ibanfirst support enquiring about the situation remain unanswered.

A slow payout.
I had to chase several days later to be told your bank needed more information, which was very basic and you had on record.
Nobody contacted me about any issues.
I must add that the guys at Cornhill followed this up with the bank with great concern and it should not reflect on their service which is normally fast, efficient and cost effective.
I will certainly continue to use them, as this small issue was an exception rather than the norm.
