I’ve recently worked with Luka Z. on my mortgage, and fr, I couldn’t have asked for a better advisor. He’s super knowledgeable, patient, and genuinely tries to help me get the best possible outcome.

He took a lot of time to explain things in a way that actually made sense (not just banking jargon stuff).
We had sooo many back-and-forth messages and he always stayed calm and helpful.
While I was waiting for my PR card (which took like days…), he already prepared everything so we could move fast afterward (I was like what you did that? 😆)
He suggested a dual-application strategy to increase my chances, sth I wouldn’t have thought of at all.
Also, he didn’t just say “here are the bank rates.” He actually combined the bank loan plus KfW in a really smart way, so I could get a much better deal overall.
Working with Luka honestly felt like working with someone who actually cares about me and my very situation, not just about sales and KPIs. That’s rare imo.
I genuinely enjoyed the process and would absolutely hope for his support again for my next project.

Hypofriend must be your first address if you are considering to buy a property in Germany, especially you are not born&raised in the country.

We have found a perfect property for us but were pretty pesimistic about the possibility of getting a loan, because I still have couple months to have my permanent residency and every info on internet was saying it is impossible to get one without a permanent residency or EU citizenship.

Our consultant Marc-Jonathan Rudolf helped us at every step from the first interview to explain every detail about basically How To get a loan, until finally we receive the documents from bank. We probably communicated through mails fore than 50 times and response time was mostly in the same hour and daily at latest.

This was basically a once a lifetime experience and without Marc-Jonathan and Hypofriend I don't think that we would even have the loan in our condition.

I want to thank again to Marc-Jonathan and all the team that make our dream come through and hope to meet you soon some day in person.

I bought my first property in Germany, and it can be quite difficult to understand German law. I am very glad I had Martin by my side as he made the process smooth on his end. He was able to help me pick out the right mortgage, put down the right down payment, understand the contract, and help me with general questions. He went above and beyond to help me, and I have already recommended him to my friends looking to purchase a property. Because of my positive experience, I would use Hypofriend again. Thanks Martin, and because of you, I could make the right decisions on my first purchase!

Nicole was scolding me why I booked for a call, not a video call? Got no respect or politeness at all.

Spoke to Martin the broker over several months, he said all along everything is fine and will go through, said I can afford up to €370K, said that all my paperwork is perfect, said my deposit is more than enough. When I actually apply to the bank, turns out none of this is true and I shouldn’t have believed anything he said. He suddenly changes everything and says I can only afford €220K now, the bank doesn’t accept many things of my paperwork that I could have sorted out months ago, asks me to magic up an extra €35K for the deposit, all of this while the estate agent and notary are waiting and about to give the apartment I bid on to someone else. Martin even blames me when talking to the estate agent and throws me under the bus. There was massive mistakes from Hypofriend since day 1, he agreed when I told him that. I switched to a different broker and all those problems suddenly didn’t exist and they’re getting the mortgage approved with the same conditions. You just can’t believe anything Hypofriend tells you.

We came to know hypofriend a few years ago but never initiated a financing process until this year, when we found the house of our dreams.
Timur Köhler supported us during the entire process, taking us by hand and explainig step by step what to do and how to do it.
Timur was always there, available for a quick call or a longer video meeting.
We followed every step, the approval arrived and we could not be happier!!
Thanks to Timur and Hypofriend we signed a mortgage with very advantageous conditions compared to what was offered to us by other providers. When we told the other providers why we were not accepting their offers, they were quite surprised to hear the huge differences in terms of intrest rates and monthly payments.
We reccomend hypofriend because the service they provide is simply excellent from all points of view!!

A superb experience from end-to-end.

We used Hypofriend to finance our house purchase, and Denise could not have been more helpful. It was our first experience of buying property in Germany, and without her assistance we probably would have given up in confusion. She was responsive, helpful, always patient and happy to explain what was going on, and if she's typical of the rest of the team, you won't regret working with them.

Sami was very helpful, supportive and friendly during the process of finding the right loan. He was always available to answer my questions, either via email or video call and always provided detailed answers. He also recommended Jan for the insurance of the flat I bought.

They were a great help throughout the way and helped me see different offers. Always on time, and perfect for English-speaking people, especially when you would need to understand German law, your obligations, and an overview of monthly mortgage payments.

Why I give three starts? Well, from the start I was fully transparent with them telling them I am also checking with local brokers until I find the best offer. At the moment I found something better - I did let them know, to show transparency, and also gave them the Bank name, hoping they would involve the bank on their future list. The email reply from one Finance Consultant was in the tone of "well I do not believe you"... and from that moment on I ignored the reply. If asked, I will also share an image of that email.

My overall suggestion is to always look for local brokers and any broker that gives you a better offer, especially on those rate conditions of today. Make your choices wisely, as I was subject to finding something better.

Hypofriend was recommended to me before, and now it's my turn to recommend it, after my mortgage has been approved with their help.
