Absolutely terrible experience from start to finish.
The product is fundamentally useless. The spray bottle leaks continuously even when not in use, which makes it messy, wasteful, and unusable. On top of that, the cleaning performance is nowhere near what is advertised. It does not deliver the results shown or implied in marketing and is not remotely “premium” in quality.
Customer service has been just as disappointing. Instead of taking responsibility for a clearly defective and useless product, I was repeatedly pushed towards troubleshooting steps and replacement parts, as if this would somehow fix the core issue. Even after explaining multiple times that the product is defective and providing details of the fault, a refund was refused because the product had been opened.
This is completely unreasonable, as the item could only be assessed by opening and using it, and the faults were obvious immediately. A replacement was offered instead of a refund, which does not address the issue and feels like avoiding accountability for a product which doesnt clean your car as advertised.
Overall, this feels like a company that does not stand behind its product when problems arise. The product does not match its advertising, and the support experience has been frustrating and dismissive. I would strongly advise others to think twice before purchasing.

Unimpressed
Must admit I bought this product with some scepticism and unfortunately have been proved right. Tried the pre and snow the first time as per the instructions and very poor results. Have tried it twice since, trying different methods, and found that using twice the amount of product, using warm water in a V2 bottle, just about removed a bit of dirt from the paint work. ProKleen snow foam from a pressure washer lance still works way better. Won't be buying again. A VERY expensive experiment.

Excellent customer service from Adam
I ordered the Hydro Winter reset kit and was delighted to receive the mystery box which contained additional products inside. Order arrived quickly however I noted not all items had shipped so contacted the support team. Adam was very quick to come back to me and ensure that the additional items were sent out to me immediately which I received a couple of days later.
Been really impressed with the quality of the products, the Pre is now a permanant addition to any car wash I do as you literlly see the dirt being dragged off the car before it even see's a hose! The detail finishes it off nicely and interior does the job also. Very happy with the product and delighted with the after service I received from Adam.

Good if your car is already clean...
I normally use Dodo products with Polar snow foam for deep cleans (Dodo traffic film remover, fallout remover, wheel cleaner, shampoo and Autoglyms polar foam, spray wax, cutting polish etc) and was hoping for something in the middle I could get good ish results with for a quick wash.
2 stars just for the bottles - I rate the spray bottles being good for panel by panel washing but it's a lot of manual pumping to do big coverage.
Chemicals - not strong enough and underperform. I used the pre and then the Snow on top as directed and it didn't lift anything. Door panel looked exactly the same after rinsing them off and it had dried. If I showed you a picture, you wouldn't believe me that I had even tried the chemicals.
When they use an ad with a black car, take it from me that once the panel has dried, that black clean gloss look just reverts back to the dusty look it had before. The water is making it look good, it will need a proper contact wash and if they are using a pressure washer then that is doing the heavy lifting not the chemicals.

A few caveats to the above, our Hydro Pre + Hydro Snow are both PH balanced pre wash stage formulas.
Comparing them like for like to a TFR and Fallout combo, isn't a fair shake.
The goal of Hydro Pre + Snow is to provide a super safe and effective pre wash stage. We focus on ensuring all waxes and coatings are safe, hence the non caustic formulation. This does make it less 'strong' than a TFR when it comes to direct cleaning power. But our goal isn't to be the strongest. Its to be the safest at the most strong level we can. Took us a fair while to get that formula nailed.
RE your performance on the door panel, what was the dwell time? What was the rinse with? We have tested our products countless times as you can imagine, they work great, but of course need a good rinse off + correct dwell times.

I’ve used lots of different brands over the years to keep my cars looking clean but I find hydro to be one of the easiest to use with great results I use pre, foam and rinse and hydro shine on the tyres at the foam stage I always use a mitt and shampoo as well cleaning 3 cars takes just over 3 hours which I don’t mind because I enjoy my Sunday morning car cleaning routine

Boom ... the birds poo is gone!
I must admit I am an old school Triplewax car shampoo and sponge person. I was drawn to Hydro by their very slick and effective marketing all over social media. Very catchy and impressive (if a bit too much at times). I got the 5 litre snow foam only as a trial mainly for value for money as it can be diluted x 10 with water. Very easy to apply and mix. I first used it on some widely splattered dried birds mess - after 5 minutes it came of very easily with a soft brush. Very impressed. Great product and now converted to snow foam.

Replacement Parts
I contacted HydroUK and spoke to Harry about a problem I had with a broken O-ring on one of my Hydro Spray bottles. I honestly was not expecting much of a response, but much to my surprise — and sheer amazement — a replacement spray unit was shipped the very same day after I explained the issue.

First of all, Harry from customer services, top guy ! Helped me with all my enquiries and also re-shipped a product that turned up damaged. Very attentive and very quick to respond. I’ve just used the products I ordered, and I can say I’m very happy with all of them, except 1. The dosing cups for the V2 spray bottles are useless, it goes everywhere. I’ve had to use a measuring jug that I already have at home, but apart from that, really happy with my purchases and will be purchasing again! Thanks Hydro !

Nasty marks, ruins cars.
Leaves nasty soap suds on the car. We went to a professional car cleaners and they have said to stay away from these products as they ruin the car and leave marks on the car for months.

If the product was thoroughly rinsed after use, it would not leave permanent marks on a vehicle for months. Any temporary residue or soap suds would be removed during normal rinsing and washing.
We are sorry to hear you were unhappy with the results, but we cannot agree with the suggestion that the product ruined the car or caused lasting damage, as this is not consistent with the product's formulation or intended use. Hydro UK Customer Support
Wouldn’t wash off my car and left permanent marks
Borrowed my partners hydro stuff to wash my car and I wasn’t very impressed. The bottles were bad quality so used one from a different brand. The product clung to my car and the water has been coming off it soapy for the next four washes, despite going back to my usual products! No idea how to get it off. Leaves horrible streaky marks and has damaged some of my exterior plastics leaving permanent streaks in the coating. I’m surprised this isn’t mentioned in other reviews. I left the pre and snow foam on the allotted time and washed off, it shouldn’t have done any damage. The only positive was that it did lift most of the dirt off with no scrubbing. Safe to say he’s gotten rid of it as he had a similar experience when using it on his cars.
