I tripped badly coming out of Eagan…

I tripped badly coming out of Eagan Hyvee recently, and they had the audacity to tell me it was my fault for how I loaded my cart.

The employees knew the uneven pavement was an issue, but in the end their representative Melissa Maas told me while they knew there was an issue, they did not know it was where I tripped, which was right outside their main front door.

What an incredible liar Melissa is.

Ordered Hy-vee mealtime to go

Ordered Hy-vee mealtime to go. No one had any knowledge of my order I paid for and didn't answer the phone. We had to go inside and wait for them to make it.
They just brought out half the order not cooked so more waiting.
Food was not very good.
Not recommended.

Hy-Vee aisles online sucks

Hy-Vee aisles online sucks. To be more specific, the people who shop your order f-ing suck. I put in a weekly order of $200 and they are constantly missing items that I order. So I call them after my order is done and ask them about the missing items, they then tell me that they’ll go look again….and when they call me back, they found all of my missing items. Why the f&@k didn’t you find them the first time? How, all of a sudden do they magically appear? EVERY. F-ING. ORDER. I talk to the managers and of course that does no good. Don’t waste your time with this service. All of the employees are under trained, inexperienced, lazy people who don’t give two sh!ts if they do their job or find your groceries.

Over it! Don’t waste money on delivery

I pay for delivery service using their Perks Plus program. It used to be decent. Hyvee doesn’t deliver direct anymore and has DoorDash do it. I’m annoyed I have to tip drivers now because I know they need to make a living and it’s not their fault Hy-Vee stinks. Every single order I get has between 25% and 75% out of stock or substituted items. And I can’t get it from the store a mile away, it comes from a store not in my neighborhood. Sometimes we order Hy-Vee actually through DoorDash instead of Hy-Vee and the dashers would do the shopping and get it right (or call me when they couldn't find something). Now Hy-Vee shops and DoorDash picks up just like Hyvee’s own service. I still tip the dasher because it’s not their fault. Last night I placed a $100 order for sushi for dinner for the family. I picked three possible substitutions for every item. Not only was 80% of the entire order substituted, but I got just two $6 trays of Philadelphia roll sushi to feed the whole family. Philadelphia roll wasn’t even one of the possible subs for the items. We gave it to the teenage boy and walked to the gas station for a pizza for the rest of us. My $100 order was ultimately $55 because so much was out of stock and not subbed. Ridiculous. I won’t even go into issues over time including items I was charged for but missing, lack of communication and delayed delivery. I’m cancelling my membership. You know things have gotten bad when Walmart not only has more fresh food than Hy-Vee, but I almost look forward to giving Walmart my money.

There are several things that bog me…

There are several things that bog me about this store. Since you remodeled, I don’t like it very much. Prices skyrocketed and great items have disappeared. One is the old fashioned donut. Best donut around and puff! Gone. I have to go back because I was charged for a watermelon when I bought a small bunch of grapes. How do you mix those two things up. Of course, if I hadn’t checked my ticket I would have paid 6.99 for my small bag of grapes! I don’t shop at your store any more except for specials. Fareway has much better meat and cheaper on lots of other items. You’ve lost me as a loyal custome. I could go on and on about what have found that I no longer buy at your store. I really like the people. They are always so nice but that doesn’t lower my bill

HyVee CEO, etc. WAKE UP. Get a new ad agency. Yours’ sucks. They produced a terrible commercial! ‘Our House’ tv commercial shows all these people eating and laughing and they are ALL WHITE! What? How 1950s. Who is producing your television ads? What does your corporate board or executive management team look like? All White and probably mostly ALL males? Get with the program HyVee. Start producing commercials that reflect your customer base.

My Last Shopping Trip to Hy-Vee

Today was my last trip to the Hy-Vee at 1000 S. 178 St. Omaha. I was doing my usual after work shopping and had gone through the self check out area only to realized that I had forgotten my wallet, lucky for me I had my check book. I was escorted over to the customer service desk and was told I could write a check there. After writing my check I was told they needed to see my driver license, again I explained that I didn't have my wallet. A short, elderly customer service manager was summoned and informed me if I wanted this $28.67 bag of groceries I would have to drive home get my license and bring it back to show her.
As much as I like the knowledge of Old Joe in the liquor dept or the kindness of Dale handing out samples, the bitterness of today's encounter is etched in my brain and I will not be back.

Sincerely,
John White

I have been doing my grocery shopping…

I have been doing my grocery shopping with another business. I am so disappointed that they do not keep their products on the shelves. It looks like they are going out of business. The other chain store that I have been doing business with keeps their shelves filled or at least let's you know if they are our of stock online.

Online not worth the hassle

On line delivery is very slow and my items were replaced by things I didn't like. Delivery took all day. Placed order by 9 am and I was lucky to get my order by 5pm. I will never do delivery anymore. We have done on-line pick up several times and we have always had issues with this service. We will no longer do on-line pick up. We are actually considering not shopping at Hy-vee. It seems like the manager doesn'tt really care when we called in to discuss the issues. We will shop at grocery stores that do care. The saying "a smile in every aisle" is not true. There are some rude employees, very nice employees and some that walk away when you ask a question. Goodbye Hy-Vee..

Tried to order some items online for delivery to my home. I got a quick delivery but both items were changed to products that I do not want. Tried to resolve over their site but there is no way to resolve this on their substandard ordering site. Totally clueless. Will go back to Cub.

Started out decent....bought it in…

Hy-Vee Premium Pus ; Started out decent....bought it in January 2021 for $99. Now, the monthly "offers" are worthless...get a free bag of ice when I buy a case of "overpriced" red bull??
Get $10 off a meatbundle ( which is $7-$8 per pound for bratwurst and sausage, hamburger patties, or low-end steaks)
I can get better brats and sausages at Fresh Thyme for $3.99 per pound ANYTIME and they sometimes have sales @$1.99 per pound.
IT'S A JOKE/SCAM....last 3 months have had terrible offers. If Hy-Vee doesn't improve, I won't renew and will take my business somewhere else.

I was just in your Hyvee store on SE 14 th street in Des Moines. I needed a powerball ticket. When the lady went to check me out at the customer service desk, I wasn’t sure which debit machine she was going to have me use since she was standing in a spot between two machines. She said to me” over here not over there “ and rolled her eyes. I told her I was sorry I didn’t know where she wanted me to pay her at...This was so unprofessional of her and I will not go back into this store ever again. Her name tag said Regina

Hy-Vee Plus does not work

I paid the $99 to join the Hy-Vee Plus program. It doesn't work, I never get the gasoline credit. Customer support has tried to fix it twice. It should not be this difficult.

9500 Antioch Store

9500 Antioch Store. Messed up order. Missing items from my order. Gave me items from someone else’s. Said they would deliver the correct items to my house within 40 minute and would pick items incorrectly delivered. Over three hours later. Deal Dash said they had delivered to my house. They had the wrong address. Called Hy-Vee. They apologized. Didn’t want chicken ordered 3 hours earlier. Won’t order from them again. To their credit, they refunded the missing items. BTW: The staff in the parking lot is great. Sorry that their in-store staff is not. Need new store manager.

The catering is worse than 30 blood draws in one day...

I have been a part of a 30 day medical study which has been catered by Hyvee.
It was the most terrible food I've ever had the displeasure of eating.
There has been several times that our meals haven't been cooked. We have been served raw roastbeef, undercooked rice, overcooked and melted zucchini, dry and rubbery chicken... I could go on.
The medical study would have been no issue if we actually had good food to look forward to.
I'm never buying from Hyvee again. I'm definitely not eating from it ever again.

My experience was HORRIBLE

My experience was HORRIBLE. I had a large school order. I have used HyVee for large school orders for the past 8 years and have been satisfied with their service. However, now that Door Dash makes the deliveries it is unacceptable. Instead of bringing the food into my classroom, like they have always done, the driver unloads the $450 food ON THE CURB. Yes, you heard that correctly! Putting food on the curb, not bringing it into the school. The office staff just happened to see this so the custodian went out with the flatbed. The custodian had to deliver the food to my room while the driver drove off. The second issue I had with this same order was regarding being charged tax even though I had said it needed to be tax-exempt. This mistake caused unnecessary additional work for me to get their mistake resolved. I was not happy!
