Do NOT use this service. It is a 100% scam. You pay for virtual telephone lines for voice/ text and then when you actually utilize the service they will simply disable your account and send you to support. Support then simply says you somehow violated their Terms of Service. They will not give you access to any of the info from the disabled account. Thieves!

HUSHED SUCKS!!! I thought this app was amazing and recommended it to friends & colleagues alike - then randomly my # stops working the other day - can't call or receive calls - spent 2/3 days with HUSHED customer service trying to figure out the issue and got zero help. Absolute muppets over there.

Fast forward a couple days, i get an email from "Quinn" @ HUSHED out of the blue saying that i violated their TOS and my account was deactivated. No further explanation, nothing. Just poof - gone.

Here's the kicker, i BARELY ever use HUSHED!! It's a useful side tool that i'd use to make the occasional call / text - its not even my main VOIP app!!!

The lack of customer service is just appalling. Literally the worst. DO NOT USE HUSHED - they will cancel your phone line with zero explanation, leaving you in the cold while you try to muddle through customer service dolts until you finally meet Quinn and it's game over.

This service is horrible. I signed up to use this for work purposes to contact those who inquired about my business to keep my personal number safe. I sent a lot of messages at once, which got marked as spam & restricted my account as a result. They quickly corrected it and then I started responding back to people who wrote to me, slowly as they suggested. I got my account restricted again even though It was only a few messages I was responding to. Again, they start it up again but now my messages are gone. I message asking what happened to my messages, and the new support shift worker replies asking what the situation was. I tell him the story, and instead of fixing the issue - they claim I violated the terms & conditions and send me point 10 which just means they reserve the right to stop service for whatever reason. They shut down my account and blocked me. This is my income and my job that has not been affected - DO NOT TRUST THIS COMPANY!

I had this service for about 3 months. I'm getting a half a dozen calls a day for someone else who has this number. Then there is the endless amount of spam calls. I tried to use this number with Sam's club and I can't verify the number. You can't change your number and if you do the annual plan you'll get no refund. The only good thing is you can turn off the notifications.

I purchased it from Stacksocial as lifetime,very poort service,support and you wil recieve anonymous calls from other hush users and eventually they will terminate your account saying that you violated their terms and conditions.
Refrain buying and using this app.NOT a trustworthy COMPANY

I have downloaded the application and paid for the 3-month plan for one number. Lasted 2 weeks with no problem. Therefore, I linked the phone number to my gmail account and others. I was happy so I decided to buy a second number to link it to other accounts.

Serious error, 15 minutes after the second purchase ALL my account (Including BOTH NUMBERS) was blocked for allegedly having violated the terms and conditions. I thought it was a mistake so I contacted them but only received a semi-automatic message (a copy and paste) saying that I had violated the terms and it was irreversible and that they would not help me at all. I asked for a second explanation 5 days ago and they did not answer my messages anymore.

Now I can't access several apps that are important to me that require an SMS code. I read their terms and conditions 5 times and I am sure I have not violated any, I did not send SMS at any time, nor did I receive or make calls. I only received a couple of access codes a week. It should be noted that in its terms and conditions it is clarified that they can do this for no reason, just because.

Please find another app, don't take risks with this one.

Likewise, they don't even care about its reputation as you can see on trustpilot.

I am talking to my lawyer to consider taking legal action for the damages that have been done to me. I literally couldn't work!

If I could give zero stars, I would. The app does not work well in the UK. Paid for a year upfront (my bad).

My anger is around their renewal process. You get NO warning of renewal just an invoice and receipt in an email. In the UK this is illegal as you have to give notice of what is called a 'Direct Debit' here.

They have NO contact information on their web site, not even an email address.

Truly appalling.

I have created an account recently, for the reason they advertising (temporary phone number), luckily I bought the 7 day prepaid plan and paid with a disposable virtual card. I say luckily because after 2 days a message came, to inform me that "Your Hushed account has been deactivated" and a refund has been issued, because I violated the ToS. GOD is my witness I don't even know how could I do that (maybe because I used a VPN service when registered, maybe of the disposable card , who knows).
The thing is they put me out of the hassle to delete my account because I've found a better service that actually works. Thanks but no thanks Hushed.

Got a lifetime number through stacksocial and it expired.

for an app that's meant to offer you a "burner" phone number it's insanely stupid that the website doesn't allow you to turn any of the unnecessary cookie settings off. "here's this untraceable phone number but we are also sharing all your information with google." deleted the app.

This service does not work in the UK, many calls to standard landlines are blocked, Hushed support (which is poor) claim they are premium numbers but that is completely wrong. Don't bother with Hushed in UK, you are just throwing money down the drain because they don't refund
Update: Hushed did respond to my review (thanks) but just suggested I contact their support but support, as stated in the review, have failed to help with this issue and just given incorrect reasons for the faults. Just to be clear, you cannot use Hushed in the UK to call a lot of standard, non premium numbers such as those starting 0345 (which is used by most large companies for service enquiries) and other prefixes such as 01189 (which covers most of Reading). This product is just not fit for purpose and should be taken of the market, Hushed should not be promoting a product that they KNOW will not work.
Update: Hushed responded to my review (thanks) and asked me to contact support. Support have done nothing and I can’t get a refund so £100 out of pocket.

Zero issues, app works without any problems on my phone. Dealt with CS on porting a number in and they were always responsive and helpful.

I picked up the "lifetime" deal with Hushed from Stack Commerce as I have with other software companies. Hushed was quick to disable my account ( not service ). Upon asking them why, they state clause 10 in their ToS which reads >>> We make no representation that our Services are available for use in any particular location. We reserve the right to change, suspend, remove, or disable access to our Services at any time without notice. In no event will we be liable for the removal of or disabling of access to our Services. We may also impose limits on the use of or access to our Services, in any case and without notice or liability..

Emailing Josh at Stack Commerce who is CEO who peddles deals like these yields no results.

Hushed of course continues to indulge in fraud with StackCommerce as of 18Jan2022. Beware!

HUSHED DOES NOT WORK AS ADVERTISED.

ALL CALLS SHOW UP IN MY PHONE LIST AND ON MY BILL!!!! THIS IS AFTER I PAID AND HAVE SPENT TWO WEEKS E-MAILING WHAT APPEARS TO BE NOTHING MORE THAN A SUPPORT BOTT.

WEEKS OF EMAILING SUPPORT AND SENDING ISSUE REPORTS FROM THE APP NO ANSWERS NO RESOLUTION.

Some of the listed features (hushed button that deletes all texts) do not exist, its for a future "release"

The pricing system is not transparent, one phone call will burn up a $9.95 monthly fee, no texting left.

I have spent two weeks E-mailing with support, no resolution, just "it should not be showing up" yet there it is!!!!!

It no longer matters but the app will not allow me to process a payment when I log in to Hushed on line.

The answer is "ohh you can process it through the Iphone store"

The system will not process an annual payment for unlimited service. Just a warning, I'm deleting the app and going to try to find something that actually works

doesnt even work for most platforms tried to use for steam gaurd and since that didnt work i tried ig and it didnt even work for that this service is a joke. good thing i only spent 2 usd.

I purchased the lifetime subscription for 25 USD in Nov 2019 via StackSocial. Used it regularly for business purposes until this year. Today was about to make a call and found out that my number was expired. No text notice I have seen, nor email from Hushed notified me about this expiration! The tech support is useless. HUSHED, what kind of LIFETIME license is this? Pure fraud, not worth your money. Goodbye forever, Hushed!

Only used for a week on US number, all worked fine.
I am trying many apps and this is among my favorites, but not perfect:
- The App UI/UX needs some improvement but I am happy with it.
- Wish web has the same features as the app.
- Also I wish settings like voice mail and SMS could be set for each line/phone number individually.
- Finally, having phones in Spain or Estonia will be a plus.

I had a problem, BUT!

I received 2 services from this company. While using J services, I had a problem with one of the services and as I had that problem, I contacted them via the app!
At that moment, I realized that they had sensitive communication in order to really take care of the customer, to create solutions for customer-oriented approach and satisfaction.

After my maximum 2nd reply, I was very surprised to see that they completely solved my problem and helped me in line with my requests. Really, it is very difficult to find a company that serves in this way at this time. I think the previous comments have had communication problems because it didn't take 2 days before they solved my problem and everything turned out to be positive about a few minutes ago.
