Great shop but rude staff.
I placed an order for collection for the first time. The process was very easy and I received a notification that my item was available the following day.
On arrival at the store, I found the staff to be outright rude. I explained that I had an order to collect and the male member of staff just looked at me, held his hands up and said ‘Well?’. I must have looked as confused as I felt as he said very abruptly and mildly aggressively ‘Name? What you’ve ordered?’
I shop at Hursts fairly regularly and whilst I wouldn’t describe the staff as overly friendly, I have never experienced unnecessary and outright rudeness like this.
Although the item I bought was cheaper here than online, I will be buying either online or from other stores from now on. I would rather spend a pound or two extra and not be spoken to in that way.
