Engaging and Informative, with Room for More Depth
I found the 'All About Arbitration' course to be an engaging, informative, and well-structured program. It provides a fantastic end-to-end journey through the arbitration process, starting from the fundamentals in 'Why Choose Arbitration?' all the way to 'Challenging and Appealing Awards'.
What the course does particularly well is keep the content relevant and up-to-date. The modules on the UK's evolving legal landscape and the 2025 Act were especially insightful. As someone with a background in other forms of ADR, this course was excellent for broadening my understanding of the complete dispute resolution spectrum.
While the course was excellent, I'm giving it 4 stars as I would have loved it more if it were a bit more comprehensive. The addition of downloadable notes for each module would be a significant improvement to help with studying and retaining the detailed information. Overall, it's a brilliant and engaging resource for any professional looking to gain a strong foundational understanding of arbitration.

All About Arbitration training is a Great Primer
All About Arbtration is a good overall presentation about what arbitration is. Each module includes a brief quiz about the module content. The program is designed to be completed in an hour, but it is possible to stop and resume if necessary as the program tracks the user's progress.

Arbitration on demand course
Following my Mediation Accreditation Training with Hunt ADR and been extremely impressed with the level of professionalism and the course structure. I knew it was a no brainer when i saw they had a new on demand service all about Arbitration to book onto the course.
The course is easy to follow and with a busy work schedule it was amazing to work at my own pace and not be set to deadlines. I would highly recommend.

5 Star Masterclass & Expert Guidance
I recently attended the Hunt ADR 5 Day Mediation Accreditation Training. It was an exceptional experience from start to finish. The expert guidance from Gregg, Kelly, John, and Trevor was delivered with clarity, professionalism, and practical insight. I felt at ease and comfortable, given there was content I was unfamiliar with. Gregg, and the staff guided me and the other attendees through the 5 days helping us trust the process. By the end I was confident, comfortable, and prepared to sit for my mediation assessment.
Beyond the expert instruction, was the fantastic group of professionals I had the pleasure of working with. The collaborative exercises not only honed my mediation skills but also opened a whole new network of like-minded contacts
The course is a masterclass in effective communication, leaving me with the tools to manage conflict, and guide towards a positive resolution.
I wholeheartedly recommend this 5-star program for anyone interested in learning the skills for mediation.

Long process due to ignored deadlines
I took my complaint against TUI to arbitration via ABTA who passed it on to Hunt ADR. The video in their portal explains the process and sets out the deadlines for when documentation should be submitted. These deadlines were consistently missed by the other party - without penalty. The final response from TUI arrived many weeks after the deadline and only then was it passed to an arbitrator. This extends the arbitration process unnecessarily by many weeks. Extra stress you don't need.
Save your money. Go to small-claims court instead.

Hunt ADR…
I have completed the Hunt ADR Arbitrator experience program. I found the experience very worthwhile, with detailed feedback from a senior barrister provided twice over the course of the proceedings. I was impressed by the care they take to ensure the parties cases are fully set out in a structured manner on their electronic platform. Obviously the arbitrator's decision is entirely independent but Hunt ADR provide training and access to a data bank of appeals/law which helps ensure a consistent approach. Overall I would recommend the program.

Mediation Training
I recently completed a course in Mediation Training with Hunt ADR. The team were very supportive in their efforts to ensure complete understanding of the process. The subject was explained in detail and the guidance provided by the trainers was excellent. The mediation process is slightly different from what I had initially expected but now having full understanding of how the process works, I fully comprehend the reasoning behind the process. Highly recommend this course and highly recommend Gregg, John & Kelly.

Hunt ADR Could do Much Better.
Sorry this is Rather Long, but Worth Reading.
Following an email direct from the CEO of Hunt ADR, I have amended this review. The CEO assures me that he was not aware and did not directly authories the emails I refer to. I accept his word as honest and genuine and believe the emails were sent without the CEO's direct knowledge, I also accept his assurance that steps have been taken to prevent this re occuring.
I did a review regarding Hunt ADR April 7th, 2025, this was a positive review, at that point I happy with the service provided, the Ombudsman judged in my favour on 1st April 2025, so far all's good. The Ombudsman gave the other party Twenty One days to pay, having made the payment they would have had a further Seven days to appeal, they never made the payment but made an appeal after 25 Days, outside of the 21 day deadline, that was on the 25th of April 2025, Hunt ADR have made numerous promises of contact but failed to provide any relevant information, despite numerous requests for an update, I was told on two occasions, I would get a call back, on both occasions the call back did no occur, instead I got an email stating " Stop Calling Us" hardly a Professional response, I therefore attempted to instigate a complaint to the CEO of Hunt ADR, the response I received was an email, in effect "Stop Emailing us", what am I supposed to do, No updates provided, Refusing to take my phone calls now refusing to respond to my emails, this is not what a reasonable person would expect from a company representing ABTA. We are now One Hundred and Fourteen Days since the judgement was made, still no payment, still no idea what is going on, still no contact from Hunt ADR, now going to resort to instigating County Court Action against The Flights ???? provider after Monday 28th July 2025, 119 Days after the Arbitrators instruction to make the payment, obviously I have no choice but to use the current judgement for Evidence and to ensure payment, what else am I supposed to do when the Arbitration provided by Hunt ADR seems to have stalled.

Hunt ADR pointless Arbitration
Avoid using this Arbitration Service. I did so against On the Beach, won the case and was awarded negligible compensation. The arbitrator agreed with all the evidence submitted and was highly critical of OTB. I had wanted to cancel the holiday due to building works which were only notified a week or so beforehand however OTB failed to respond to communication. On arrival there was no access to the beach which had been screened with an 2.4m high grey metal fence and heavy machinery worked throughout the night, every night and we had very little sleep for 7 nights and for this level of extreme disruption we were awarded £9 a night compensation for a holiday costing £2,400. Quite how the arbitrator arrived at this derisory figure is beyond me. I should have looked at the reviews on Trustpilot first as they provide the answer to this conundrum. Hunt ADR claim the 70% of cases are successful. That may be true but the high number of reviews complaining about the low levels of compensation awarded makes me wonder what the arrangement is with the Holiday Operators that have signed up to Hunt ADR. It would be helpful and informative to publish tables of compensation paid but I suspect they would not wish to do so as prospective claimants are likely to be disillusioned as I certainly am. I have appealed the award...twice, but to date, 3 weeks later I am still waiting for a reply. It does appear that the appeal process is internal so I don't hold out much hope of impartiality. On the Beach are not a member of ABTA, I wonder why? I regret not looking at the alternative, Small Claims Court or firms of Solicitors who operate no win no fee legal services.

Waste of time and money.
Do not waste your time and money going through arbitration if the arbitration service is offered by Hunt ADR as they are clearly in the back pockets of the tour operators.
We had 7 days to upload our evidence and TUI allegedly had 28 days to respond, which should have been around Easter. No response was received and after my husband chased up, Hunt ADR said that TUI were being given an extra 7 days to respond because of the Easter bank holidays (2 days). After that date came and went, we chased up again and asked for the refund of our fee as clearly the process was going nowhere since we were now 7 weeks on from lodging our claim and TUI were being allowed an infinite (and in our view disproportionate) amount of time to respond to the claim. Despite it being a Sunday lunchtime, we had an email back within half an hour saying we couldn’t have a refund as an arbitrator had just been allocated (what are the odds?!) and that Hunt ADR had been waiting to see if TUI wanted to upload a defence statement. If this had been in Court, a Judge would not have allowed repeated extensions of time for the filing of evidence by any party, and so we can only conclude that Hunt ADR allowed this is because they are heavily biased towards the tour operators.
The arbitrator who was eventually assigned, Aimé Mbarushimana, and his decision was woeful and a separate complaint will be made about him to CIArb. The decision went against us but what was worse was that he had got all the basic facts mixed up so we’re still left feeling as though no one has bothered to read any of our evidence properly.
To add insult to injury we now have to pay £150 as TUI’s fee/costs but TUI have not responded nor uploaded any evidence throughout the entire process. Not really sure what costs they have incurred when they haven’t engaged with the process?
Avoid at all costs and just boycott the tour operator.

Please stay well clear of Hunt ADR
Please stay well clear of Hunt ADR they are a scam shyster company pretending to be fair and impartial but are clearly on the tour operator’s side. We wish we read more of the reviews on here as it is clear that our experience is not unusual.
For context we were in dispute with TUI after we were supposed to go on a Caribbean cruise in January and after their
navigational system failed TUI returned us the airport where we spent several hours in one can only be described as a holding pen. TUI had a duty of care to us and failed to provide food or drink stating that they couldn’t because we had left UK airspace. The long and short of it is we decided to go down the arbitration route after a complaint to ABTA with TUI failing to engage in the process.
All evidence was supplied on the portal to ADR within 7 days. The tour company are supposed to respond in 28 days but Hunt ADR appear to be willing to give the tour operators an infinite amount of time not to respond and again TUI they never engaged in the arbitration process. They only appointed an arbitrator after months and after I asked for the registration fee back. I believe this may have had an impact on Hunt ADR’s case decision.
The judgement made by their arbitrator "Aime Mbarushimana" was wholly inaccurate and referred to us being on a flight to Lake Garda Italy not the Dominican Republic. The arbitrator mixed up the amounts of what we were claiming for in their judgement. The arbitrator even acknowledged that TUI breached their duty of care towards us. Yet dismissed the claim on the grounds that TUI offered us a £200 voucher and therefore made an effort to resolve the complaint fairly. We hardly consider £100 per person a fair amount for being stranded for several hours with no food or drink and having multiple days of annual leave lost.
Please don't waste your money thinking this company will treat you fairly and assess the evidence you have with due consideration because they won't. Keep your £150 and either try the small claims court or better yet boycott the tour operators that provide appalling customer service and no aftercare as this is the only way they will reflect on their actions.
