Purchasing during sales with NO exchanges/ returns need to change

Purchasing during sales is something we ALL want especially during these very tough financial times. It would be more inviting to purchase online from Humidity if they were more flexible with returns/exchanges rather than dictate what was on their website to cover themselves and reject exchanges. We all know how different it is when purchasing online and something just doesn't look right on the individual. They were not accommodating at all!

We are sorry that you feel this way. Our sales policy is in line with most brands and we do go above and beyond to make it as clear as possible that our sales policy is that "Sale items cannot be returned or exchanged". This information is accessible all over our website, sale posts, and emails.
We would have explained further to you that returns come with a processing cost- all returns must be checked first, re-steamed, sometimes relabelled and repackaged. Sale items are sold at a huge discount- we just cannot justify these costs in time and wages- there is no trying to be difficult. We understand it's tough out there, but we always say to our customers that ring us to see what we think - "Don't buy if you're unsure." We always strive for a happy customer. If you have any questions or need further assistance we are always happy to help.

I don't usually buy online

I don't usually buy online. Saw the dress I wanted. Very easy to order. Next day, received an email saying the dress was being sent. The dress arrived. Very happy. No problems at all. I may have to do more online shopping.

A long wait for items

I have ordered a few things from you over the last few months as I couldn’t get the size I needed In a store. There is no communication and it takes on average 2 weeks to get delivered. I am 2 hours south of Sydney so not in a remote place. There is also no communication when it’s getting delivered either. It’s a shame your online store lets down the brand.

Hi Samantha, Thank you for your review. I have just checked, we received your most recent order at 9:00 am Monday and it was shipped that very afternoon. We pack fast and we ship fast! It arrived to you the following Tuesday – 6 business days for delivery – which is normal if you select “standard post”. I noticed on some of your previous orders you selected Express instead which we always recommend, I can see these parcels were delivered to you within 4 business days. Maybe that’s why you thought this time it was slower, but definitely not two weeks. We are based in Western Australia in the Margaret River region so our delivery time is slightly longer than if we were on the East Coast.

An automatic confirmation email is sent to customers when their order has been placed and another when shipped with tracking details. They may have gone to your junk folder if you have received them. I’m not sure why you are not getting alerts from Australia Post – we will look into this. Thanks for letting us know. I would recommend downloading the Australia Post app to ensure you receive their updates. Thank you

Lovely Dress

Hi...loved the dress unfortunately it was too small, as it was on sale I could not refund or exchange. So had to give it away. But will wait till new sizes are available and re-purchase.

Hi Jane, we are happy to hear that you thought the dress was lovely and will repurchase. We do try to make our return policy as clear as possible to avoid unhappy customers. There is a terms and conditions box that must be ticked at checkout that reinstates "sale items are final sale and cannot be returned or exchanged." Our website will not let you check out until you have ticked this box and agreed with the terms.
We recommend also using our size guide for when you do repurchase to help you with sizing as we hand measure every garment to make sure that customers are 100% confident with the size that they are purchasing.

More pale yellow than cream…

Unfortunately the Celia cardi in cream was a very deep cream- more butery with soft yellow tones. It doesn’t suit my colouring at all but as I bought it during a 30 percent promotion I can’t return it. The cardi is a fabulous fabric - I have one in Black - but it isn’t really cream.

The colour of the cardigan is a very close match to the photos we provide online – there is always a slight difference due to different computer screens and photographic lighting. Unfortunately, there is no way for us to control this.
