a very easy process and great service

Really great service and extremely helpful

Company was so easy to communicate with, stress free car hire experience, easy pick up and drop off and felt could call if needed anything. Definitely will book again with Humble Hire when back in England as made my holiday so easy.

Booked for a few days hire. Communication in advance was helpful and friendly, drop off was even earlier than booked and pickup was flexible. Car was reliable and got us where we needed. Would definitely use again.

We had an amazing experience! The car was delivered to parking close to our air B and B the night before our rental with parking paid until pickup time. The price was super reasonable and the car was in great shape. The included insurance and roadside assistance definitely set my mind at ease. We dropped our car off at the airport hotel at the end of our rental and the driving crew picked it up within 20 minutes. We organized everything with email and the online chat. Everyone was super helpful and accommodating. We’ll rent here when we need a car in England again!

What an absolute terrific find. Found Humble Hire through my Blue Light Card app (although now don’t offer NHS discount as cars are already so discounted which is understandable).

I had to contact Jamie numerous times before and after booking with all my queries, super fast response and so much detailed help. I’d be lying if I said I wasn’t a bit scared at the whole car rental stuff as this was my first time renting. I’ve seen nothing but terrible reviews about all the other “big” rental companies so felt that there would be a catch in all this but there absolutely wasn’t. You get what you pay for (and what Humble Hire are totally transparent about). These are not brand new fancy cars, but they are perfect for hiring for short term trips like ours.

I hired an Astra for 3x days in Luton Airport to drive to Warwick for a break then back again. I was contacted beforehand saying someone would meet us at the airport which she did, quick handover, showed us full fuel tank and the couple of pre-existing bumps and marks on the car, then off we went. The car was well used but clean and perfectly drive able. We took our own booster seat for 9 year old and clipped it into the Isofix points. Then all we had to do was leave it in the car park of Luton Airport on the way back again!

Absolutely wouldn’t hesitate to rent from Humble Hire again for future breaks. Couldn’t have been happier (: thank you so much!

I am so grateful to Jamie. We needed a driver for a day to take our family to our father’s funeral in the countryside and the wake following. Jamie was prompt, personable, flexible and professional. He was great with our children and even played with them outside when they got antsy during the wake. He offered to go pick up my sister’s phone from another taxi driver when she left it in the cab so that we didn’t have to deal with the situation. Finding him was truly a blessing as this wasn’t transactional- it was like having a trusted friend as a driver. Thank you, Jamie- you made a difficult day so much easier!!

Fantastic customer service!

For the second time this year I have used Humble Hire, and I am more than happy to use them for every visit to England, and would recommend them to family and friends, and anyone reading this review. It’s so easy to hire a car through Humble Hire, no paperwork, no huge deposit and most of all practically no worries driving on the English roads. Thumbs up to Jamie and his brother for a fantastic service with a human touch.

Excellent service and easy to book. Definitely will use again and have already recommended to another family travelling from overseas to the UK. I also had a need to reach out to Jamie with a question and he immediately responded.

A very good and flexible service. No hassles or complications. DIrect and to the point. Economical and reasonable. So will definitely use again and would advise others to use this service over the usual corporate providers which basically rip us off. Fact. Better to support these independent businesses as some of us are locked out of using the other providers due to their unnecessarily strict so called verification formalities.

Sadly we have had to cancel our booked hire for personal reasons. However, when we first contacted Jamie , he could not have been more professional helpful and efficient. On this basis we are more than happy to recommend Humble Hire and look forward to the opportunity to book again.

I didn't need to use them in the end but the whole process from enquiry to cancellation was excellent. Through the chat function I was able to get all my questions answered the the person dealing with my enquiry went out of their way to support me and try and get me the best solution.
