Absolutely appalling experience. We are four female students who lived in a shared uni house. Huddle have been chasing us for energy bills covering a period when we were not living there.
They have refused to accept our meter readings to correct the bill, ignored Energy Ombudsman involvement, and still keep threatening court action and credit controllers.
They ignore emails for over four weeks (the Ombudsman even pushed them to reply and they still haven’t). Yet the threatening letters and texts continue non-stop. Completely unprofessional, unresponsive, and aggressive when it comes to collecting money.
Avoid at all costs if you’re a student or in a shared house. They will bill you for periods you weren’t there, refuse evidence, ignore official complaints processes, and just keep the threats coming. Disgraceful.

I have never dealt with a company as disorganised and frustrating as Huddle. From the start, there was zero confirmation our account was activated. No email replies, no calls, no explanation for three months. The fact that their emails go to spam is a sure sign this company is not quite right. We had to discover through another company that you were supposedly managing our bills. During that time, we were never told meter readings were needed. We were left completely in the dark. Then comes the billing chaos. You tried to charge us for Wi-Fi you never provided while we had Virgin Media set up privately, and you attempted to charge for water that we already paid directly to the supplier. Getting a refund was an exhausting fight.
Communication has been dreadful. Long phone queues, slow email replies, no continuity. Every time, we had to repeat everything to someone new. Meanwhile, our monthly payments kept rising. Even after we turned off the heating and left the property, we were told the bills continued to rise. Now, you expect us to pay160 pounds for just an eight-day period? That’s absurdly unjustifiable. And, important emails conveniently arrive late Friday so we can’t contact anybody until Monday, which makes it feel like your systems are designed to avoid accountability. In short, expensive, unreliable, opaque, and frankly stressful. I would strongly discourage anyone from using Huddle.
As a direct result of our experience with Huddle, we have actively discouraged others from using your service and have recommended your competitors instead. Whenever conversations come up, including at university housing events and provider fairs, we share our experience because we genuinely believe people deserve to know what they’re signing up for. We’ve also taken the time to leave honest reviews across every platform available to us, in the hope that others can make a more informed decision before choosing Huddle. Huddle turned what should have been straightforward bill management into one of the most frustrating experiences we’ve had. We will continue to recommend friends, family, fellow students, and anyone looking for a bills package to choose a different provider.

Keep trying to contact me demanding payments despite the fact we ended our contract with them over a year ago and no longer live at the address. Just avoid this company, absolute thieves.

Daniel sorted out my extremely worrying problem with Huddle in a very calm and kind way. I felt so relieved speaking to him today and so thankful that is now resolved and that it was Huddle making the mistake on my account.
He was very professional and explained everything as he was sorting it out. Very happy with his approach.

Awful company that keep trying to charge me based on estimated usage of 5 people in the house, when the house has been empty this last year. They are well aware that the house is empty as I've informed them by telephone and email several times. House was sold, in a probate sale, and final meter readings provided, and yet they are still trying to charge based on average estimates. This is a bereavement case and they've caused much added grief, where they need not have. They've had a copy of the death certificate and photos of meter readings but they either do not process them or reject them (even with time stamped photo evidence of the meter readings). The amount of time I've wasted trying to get them to correct the bills is ridiculous. This is fraudulent behaviour and very bad customer service. Most other people I've spoken in relation to my late mother's estate have had bereavement teams that have been kind. Huddle's incompetence is cruel.
Edit to add a response to Huddle's reply: you've had the meter readings for a month, with photos that are time stamped. I've sent 6 further emails to chase you to use the meter readings provided, and and yet you've still sent two bills based on estimated meter readings in that time. Calling them the final bill. If this isn't fraudulent behaviour, I don't know what is. I imagine you take advantage of a lot of people this way. Please just send me the real final bill so that I can pay you and close all contact with you.

I moved into a flat and huddle was the supplier. I received a bill 2 months in for over £700. I am a single occupant out of the property at work in excess of 60 hours per week. I contacted them on numerous occasions with very little support. They then sent someone out to complete a ‘welfare check’ while I was out at work and charged me £60 for nothing. I paid the £700 just to close the account and then received an email stating ‘7 day court action warning’ and telling me I still owed them £50! Impossible to speak to anyone because the phone lines are only open Monday to Friday 9-5 when I am at work myself. Cannot be trusted - daylight robbery! Avoid at all costs!

Had to call to resolve many discrepancies in our student house billings, from broadband mix ups to unequal bills per student each month, and Laila was so incredibly helpful, offering to send us each an email explaining what leftovers we need to pay and explained why everything happened - she also made a late payment incredibly easy to resolve and was lovely on the phone! Thank you :)))

I set up the direct debit with them. On the one hand, they sent the email said that everything is okay. On the other hands, their credit control team sent out another email said that you are required to pay the money but ignorant to check that customer already set up the payment and have paid for a past few months. Moreover, when the contract comes to and end, this business once again not provided the latest bill and been told have to wait for couple weeks. I have smart meter reading, my next provider also got the reading when I switched to them, but this company cannot final the bill. Moreover, as I am not their customer anymore, I have cancelled the direct debit and the first thing first they sent an email warned me that they will sent my account to credit control team. They just want my money for the bill that is not available currently.
Incimpeyent staff who wont listen. Trying to charge foe a property I do not own and threatening behavior

This company is a complete rip off merchant..I was unfortunate enough to have dealings with them when my tenant used them .. I was told there was a small outstanding bill from when he left .. I paid and paid another and another they kept coming for months.. I finally realized that the were not my bills and I was wrongly charged.. but they kept demanding putting bills up each month.. they have no integrity whatsoever and don’t call you back just threaten you with payments added … don’t get involved I will now have to seek legal advice time money and energy wasted
