Great experience throughout whilst buying with HPL in Oldham. Any questions or concerns we had were addressed promptly. Overall a great service provided by Andy A during the purchase & Kai for the final handover.

Byron was very helpful and we were extremely pleased with the service and purchase.

First visit to the Stockport branch, very modern, lots of staff happy to help. I spoke with Matthew holt, he was easy to talk to and told me all about my car. Matthew made me feel at ease and reassured me that body work that needed doing would be done. 100% recommend speaking with Matthew when you can.

Brilliant service and communication from the Chaps at HPL

Absolutely amazing service by Liam Griffiths and HPL motors Stockport. Since start to end was very transparent and clear communication and final car delivery of the car as committed in stunning condition. Loved it very much.

Dan made it very easy to buy the car. Kept in regular contact, made sure the car had a new charger, a couple of scratches were rectified and headrest was sorted.

We enjoyed our experience, we wasnt mithered whilst selecting a car. Mike was the man when purchasing and when collecting he had made sure the car was in tip top shape we will 100% use HPL again. Shout out to Mike (and the free drinks 😂)

We recently purchased a vehicle from HPL Motors and cannot recommend Jack Davies highly enough. Despite us calling at very short notice to reserve a car, Jack went above and beyond to ensure the vehicle was fully prepped and ready for our arrival.

Throughout the process, Jack was incredibly attentive and patient. He gave us the space we needed to inspect the car thoroughly before guiding us through a test drive, where he was flexible enough to let us choose our own route.

The part-exchange process for our older, high-mileage vehicle was handled very fairly, and the team managed all the paperwork seamlessly. What impressed me most was Jack’s professionalism regarding the optional extras; although we declined the additional coverages, he was completely respectful of our decision. Thank you, Jack, for making this such a positive experience.

Mike helped us out today with a quick handover today. Sound guy who wasn’t pushy or ‘salesy’ just told you what you needed to know and gave you breathing room to discuss options. Would recommend Mike to anyone who’s looking for a simple straight forward no BS experience.

Recently bought a car from HPL Stockport, all went well until finding out the car had two missing features.

I was told, despite the car being inaccurately described, on both Autotrader and their own website, I was NOT entitled to a refund (Against the consumer rights Act 2015), rather they would have to 'buy the vehicle back' from me, as per company policy.

After months of back and forth, daily phone calls and the odd email, they finally offered a pitiful amount of compensation (not enough to cover the cost of the features) or suggested I pay them more money to put this right!

Finally, just short of legal action, but after citizens advice have gotten involved, they have paid for one of the two missing features to be installed (All be it aftermarket not OEM) but this situation should not have taken so long or have been so painful.

This whole situation has been a showcase of poor customer service, little to no communication and poor, bordering on illegal, company policies.

In summary I would never recommend this company, and in the off chance you do decide to buy from them then id suggest printing out the advert and ticking the features off!
