Alfred and his team were prompt, courteous and very thorough. They very efficiently removed items to clear the property. Alfred drafted in an extra man, meaning the job was completed ahead of his original estimate, and they cleaned up after wards, vacuuming etc, and wiping down window sills, and dusting bannisters, which was all beyond my expectation but saved me a task in making the property presentable. I would heartily recommend the service. I'd recommend clearly establishing and agreeing any items to be retained beforehand simply because they're such impressively swift and thorough workers, but the whole team was approachable and amenable to this. I just designated one cupboard and a couple of rooms where I put anything to be kept and that worked very well for both of us.

I contacted Alfred after we had been let down at the last minute by another company when clearing out my mother in law’s flat.
Alfred immediately said he would take care of everything and he certainly did.
He visited the flat the same day and was able to arrange a very quick clearance date.
On the day he kept us informed throughout the whole process.

When Alfred and his team took on the task of clearing my sister's flat in Edinburgh, it was a huge job. The access to the flat could not have been more difficult but the team overcame all these obstacles. As we were at a distance from the property we were kept informed with daily texts, photos and videos. It was a huge relief to see the flat being cleared day by day. Alfred and his team did a brilliant job at sorting out my Dads house. Wish I’d known sooner that this sort of service was available as it definitely eased a stressful situation and although you are paying for the service, it was worth it for a very professional job. In terms of price scale, I suppose the easiest way to put it was that it cost more than we’d hoped and less than we’d feared. They cleared the house for us in two stages. First of all was a clean and tidy up, emptying cupboards and rearranging furniture ready for estate agents to photograph and the second part has been totally clearing the house. They kept us informed throughout even emailing me photos of the cleaning and tidying as I don’t live nearby. A very good, professional job all round.
