I purchased a 2 litre Sänger hot water bottle from this retailer in January 2026 at full retail price, expecting a recently manufactured product as I was replacing an older bottle.

The bottle I received was manufactured in July 2024, meaning it was already approximately 19 months old at the time of purchase. While technically still within two years of manufacture, I found this disappointing given that hot water bottles are safety items made of rubber and their lifespan is commonly linked to age.

When I contacted the company to query this, the response was defensive and dismissive. Rather than acknowledging the reasonable expectation of receiving newer stock when purchasing “new” from a specialist retailer, the reply focused on disputing consumer guidance and referencing their return window.

A more understanding, customer focused approach or even a small goodwill gesture would have reflected better service. Unfortunately, the tone and handling of the matter mean I would not purchase from this retailer again.

Customers choosing a specialist shop often do so expecting better stock rotation and service than from general retailers.

I bought a Hugo hot water bottle from this company and in June 2024 it split and they did the right thing and sent me a replacement. This however, also split a month ago, February 2025 - just 9 months later. The front and back parted company at the bottom. Both bottles were blue. I did not overfill or use boiling water or mistreat it in any way - and sent photos. Despite 3 emails and a phone call the company are not accepting responsibility, intimating that i should not be using tap water to fill it! Bottles that split like this are potentially dangerous. I am wondering if anyone else has had a similar experience?

It has a UK website but everything is is actually dispatched from China. Said delivery was 2 to 3 days which made me think it was from UK but clearly not. Been waiting nearly 2 weeks and it hasn't even left China according to tracking reference. Would definitely avoid this company

I bought a neck hot water bottle. I'd read that cheap ones can be uncomfortable so I bought an expensive one here. Unfortunately it is so uncomfortable I can't use it. It's made of a rigid material with a 'seam' on the inside which pushes against my neck if I try to use it. It's also very difficult to fill safely. They suggested I fill it with more water than the manufacturer recommend. I was unhappy with that but tried. No better. For me, quite unusable and a waste of money.

I purchased a bottle last year for my wife who suffers from Crohn’s disease as I provided comfort for her during rare flare ups . It was only used at most 20 times and a hole appeared in the neck of it last night causing minor scalding to my wife’s abdomen.. I sent them an email today but they did not even have the courtesy to reply.
If anyone knows of other suppliers then please let me know .

Having purchased 2 hot water bottle cushions, one in Beige the other a grey “London Inspired “ one, I was dismayed to find that despite being described as identical in depth and appearing identical in the photographs, the grey one was approx a third of the depth. As this was bought for an invalid relative I had to purchase and alternative bottle to go inside as the original one remained to hard even when filled and could be felt through the cushion. I emailed customer service who ignored me, after a second email they sent an extremely condescending reply merely quoting the advertising blurb. They showed no care, concern or compassion. A further email was subsequently ignored. After spending over £100 to be treated in this manner is deplorable. I will never purchase from this company again and have unsubscribed from their website.

THIS COMPANY KEEP EMAILING ME WITH CODES TO USE FOR MONEY OFF. I TRY EACH TIME I GET A NEW ONE. IT HAS NEVER EXCEPTED ANY CODE. TODAY I RECEIVED A 30% OFF CODE THOUGHT I WOULD HAVE ONE MORE TRY. GUESS WHAT. WHOULD NOT EXCEPT THE CODE. I HAVE NOW GIVEN UP!

After buying from this website, my card details were used by someone else on a betting site!!!!! Clearly their payment security isn’t doing what it should! Buyer beware!!!

Excellent company, really nice selection of bottles & other ideas to keep you warm. Returning customer as it's the first and only place I would go to for my Hot Water Bottle.

Bottles come with a user guide which is great as a lot of people don't know how to actually fill the bottles and be the correct tempertature.
