Misleading Cancelation Policy - Read Fine Print!
I booked and paid for a Cuban hotel stay, then tested Covid positive and had to cancel near the last minute. Hotelwiz website's cancellation policy was that I'd get 43% of my money back but buried in the "conditions" fine print was a note that my booking was "non-cancellable" so I'm out $US600. Legal I suppose but misleading and unethical. Suggest you avoid booking with Hotelwiz
Very easy to use

Provided a refund for a non-refundable hotel
I booked a non-refundable room. My flight was cancelled, the actual hotel (Vdara) could not do a refund directly to me, and HotelWiz did not need to honor the refund. But they did. For that reason, I'll use them again.
so far so good
Everything was good
This is a scam
This is a scam. I booked a hotel room weeks in advance, they charged my credit card $700, and when I arrived at the hotel, there was no reservation. I tried to contact them, and they were rude, unkind, and placed the blame on me. They never gave me a refund. I’m disputing the charge through my credit card.
Think the price should have been cheaper
Very easy web site to use.
This business totally scam
This business totally scam. They have canceled our booking without inform us. They have charged our hotel reservation even they have canceled our booking. They are not ready to give my money back.
SCAM - late cancellation fraud
Long story short, it’s a scam.
They take your money, promise you a room at a low price, and then at the LAST moment tell you the hotel can’t honor that price…
Don’t let them ruin your vacation at the last minute
Actual text:
“Dear Michael,
Greetings from Hotel Wiz!
We regret to inform you that the hotel cannot honor this reservation. The hotel is willing to offer a lower room category. However, unfortunately, the hotel cannot offer the current room type.
Please response to this email whether you would like to continue with the reservation with a lower room category or would you like to cancel the reservation.”
