Unwilling to meet customers needs during covid-19

We had been so fortunate to receive a gift card to a spa retreat at Hotel Skansen as a wedding gift. However, due to covid-19 we were not allowed to travel to Sweden from Denmark, when we had planned to use the gift card. I am pregnant and are soon due. Unfortunately, the gift card expires before the baby arrives, and we are still not allowed to travel to Sweden for a retreat at Hotel Skansen. I contacted Hotel Skansen and told them our situation, and asked for an extension of our gift card until our baby is old enough to be baby-sitted over night. However, Hotel Skansen declined and responded, with a poor attitude, that "Hotel Skansen could not take personal matters into consideration". Very unfortunate that Hotel Skansen are not willing to meet their customers needs and be more flexible during the pandemic. Cannot recommend.
