Something had changed at their end which gave us issues on sending receiveing emails. Receiving seems to have been fixed, but still can't send emails and they have been less than helpful.
While we don't verify specific claims because reviewers' opinions are their own, we may label reviews as "Verified" when we can confirm a business interaction took place. Read more
To protect platform integrity, every review on our platform—verified or not—is screened by our 24/7 automated software. This technology is designed to identify and remove content that breaches our guidelines, including reviews that are not based on a genuine experience. Hostgeek is a scam business that has made false withdrawls against my ban account totalling over $15,000. Adam in accounts admintted the error and said he would fix it that weekend. That was over 2 months ago now. A bit opf research uncovered another 5 customers with similar stories. I was in hospital at the time and the only reason they stopped is becasue they emptied my bank account. My emails dont get answered, no one picks up the phone, they don't care. It's fraud and comeone should go to jail for this. Beware of this company and do not engage their services.
Fraudsters
Don’t go anywhere near this company. They are fraudsters.
Please note that I have tried to contact Host Geek multiple times by both email and telephone but have had no success in them answering the calls or responding to emails.
Note: The fraudulent activity is reference to 10 invoices at $110.00 each. Totalling $1100.00
Note also that I have found out that I am but one of many of their clients who are in the same position.
• I cancelled my authority to automatically pay for my subscription. This was done immediately upon discovering that Host Geek were invoicing and taking payment for future year subscriptions. I have received no response with regard to my queries from Host Geek Accounts or Support
• Upon realising that Host Geek had taken multiple payments for future support I immediately cancelled my Credit Card Authority and tried to contact them by Email, Telephone and Web Contact. Host Geek have responded to none of these and have not returned contact as requested in messages.
Found them on webhostingtalk for reseller hosting. Had questions answered and website migrated within 24hrs. Couldnt recommended them enough Will be staying with them
