In April I sold my property and Host Agents took over. They begged me for my Booking.com login details and I informed them that as I was still due a payment that I would not hand anything over until that was complete. their agents Taryn Hope and Ghite Vermeulen assured me that they would still ensure I received my payment. In goof faith I gave them the details, they immediately changed the credentials which therefore logged me out and to date I have not received a sent. They took advantage of my kindness and stole my money.

⭐ 1/5 — Security Breach & Zero Accountability

As a landlord I am warning others — Host Agents lost the keys to my property and cannot account for their whereabouts. This is a serious security breach that was never communicated to me and remains unresolved.

The total cost to me: R4,770 — absorbed entirely at my own expense after the directors failed to respond to repeated requests for reimbursement.

Landlords — do your due diligence before signing with this company.

We booked through Booking.com an apartment in Mauritius (Choisy Les Bains M2) that it ended up to be managed by Host Agents even though we also dealed with a local person. We had an issue with the apartment cleaning condition as it wasn't as expected, we informed both the local manager and Host Agents but the only answer was a sincere apologies but no actions were kept... It looks hard to run property with such a distance writing messages or by phone. At the end of the day this review should had been made also to Booking.com

I recently had an experience with Host Agents that exceeded all expectations, even though I ultimately had to cancel my booking. They processed my cancellation promptly and even offered a partial refund without any hassle. Their flexibility, professionalism, and customer-first attitude really stood out, and I felt confident in their commitment to customer satisfaction.
