Really happy with Jumbo Rail Western Cedar
I liked the Hoover website because I had to depend on pictures to make my decision. Customer Service was very friendly and helpful. With a small order (60 ft of fence) the shipping cost would be high. The same quality of product was not available locally, so I paid the shipping. I treated the posts with Cedar Tone Spar urethane. The guys that put the fence together were impressed with the installation and appearance of it, and talked about it on their way home. Absolutely no regrets in Tennessee.
UPDATE:
I had high hopes my rail fence would attract blue birds, and it absolutely did. Every morning I can watch them as they perch in search of their daily food.

Thank you for reaching out. We've reviewed your correspondence with our sales associate and it was determined that the hinges were misused. The hinges that you purchased only opened 180 degrees in or out, not in and out. The hinges were supporting a very heavy steel gate and were forced back in the wrong direction repeatedly, the extreme force causing them to snap and the gate post to be damaged. These hinges will work as intended if they are only opened in one direction. When a gate operator is added to this gate, the swing arm will act as a stop, preventing damage to the hinges. If it will take some time to add the operator, then we recommend installing a gate stop to prevent this kind of damage from happening again. Please reach out to us if you have any questions.
