Fast delivery and fast connecting to low volt wiring. This is our 2nd set and I absolutely love our gate post lights. We had our first set or almost 20 years. The quick connect wiring made installation a breeze. They add beauty to our gate as well as night time security. Lights aren't too bright and aren't too dim. Just right.

I order a set of gate locks for a community I manage and in a day I receive an email back that they didn't have the color I needed however they recommended a color that was just a little darker and after talking to the board members we agree on the color and it was sent to me with in 3 days, I really love the service and how fast they gave me a solution to resolve the issue, thank you guys

Hardware itself is great
Hardware itself is great, fast shipping, customer service. Does the job well. Gave it a 4 because the powder coating was pretty sloppy. Had drips, too much product in bolt threads (nuts won’t screw on) and easily scuffed (thin in spots). About as tough as spray paint honestly. If I had to order again, Id order the raw color and have it powder coated locally. Wasn’t worth the extra price.

Snug Cottage specializes in "rustic" hardware and they use a Black Polyester Powder Coat over hot-dipped Galvanized steel. This means, you won't get a perfectly smooth finish, but you will get hardware that is corrosion resistant through the long haul. Traditional powder coating strips the zinc coating off the steel, leaving hardware susceptible to rust if the finish is scratched. We hope that your project looks great for many years to come!

Temporary fence 6x12
I purchased 6x12 temporary fence for an upcoming construction project. The cost to buy from Hoover was cheaper than a month and a half rental from United. They had everything in stock ready for pickup. Quality fence as well.

Gate is Fine. Shipping is outrageous
After Purchasing a gate which had a $1000 Shipping fee. We were contacted to pay an additional $1,800 for shipping. (More than the gate itself costs) $2,800 to ship a $1,600 gate.

We weld these gates in our OH shop and our fabricators are meticulous when it comes the the gates that leave our doors. Unfortunately, the cost to ship a 16'W gate on a flatbed truck, from OH to WA, is expensive. Sales people almost always have to custom quote freight for large items shipping to the west coast, since all of our manufacturers are on the east coast and do not ship direct out west. We can assure you, we provided you the best possible shipping rate that we could. If you have another order, then you may always request to pickup at our location and use a carrier of your choice.
