We have been using this program for several months and unfortunately there has not been any change. My daughter is still struggling just as much as she was when we began. If your child has even a little bit of a struggle with phonics I don't believe I would recommend this program.

According to your App usage, your child is working in the Pre-reader section of the App, which teaches the alphabet and all of the letter sounds. Please note, for Pre-readers, they'll show a significant increase in reading skills, as actual reading begins with the Learn to Read program.

It works
Awesome program my five year old was reading within 2 and 1/2 weeks. Stick with the program it works. Worked for me 30 years ago when it was on cassette tape and it still working just effectively now with modern day app.

Such a great tool to have in the summer…
Such a great tool to have in the summer while school is out! While my 5 year old was out of school during the summer we decided to purchase this program to keep things fresh in his mind and help him learn and understand new letters and sounds. It’s been great and we are so happy we tried it out!

Really helped my girl with autism
My daughter has autism, and we had been working on reading for a awhile now. She was able to somewhat sound out words, but we were having trouble getting her to put words together to form a sentence. It was like each word was a stand alone word. When we started hooked on phonics, it is like something clicked. The sentences are starting to flow, and she is starting to comprehend what she is reading. We definitely recommend Hooked on Phonics!
