Mixed Opinion - Issue Resolved
Update: Following my initial concerns, the agency reached out to me and took the matter very seriously. I am pleased to say that they have been actively working to resolve the dispute regarding my deposit at High Road (IG8 0XE) .
While it initially took some time to get the process moving, the agency stepped in to bridge the gap between myself and the landlord. I would specifically like to thank Abukasha from the agency; he has been instrumental in resolving this issue and has provided the support that was previously missing.
Thanks to his help, the landlord has now returned the majority of my deposit. There is a small remaining balance, but I have been assured that this will also be cleared shortly. I appreciate the agency taking accountability and ensuring their tenants aren't left in the dark.
Altough my initial review was not recommending the agency, they have acted upon the issue and hoping that this will not be happening to any other tenants.
Initial Review:
I rented a room at High Road (IG8 0XE) from June 2025 to December 2025, and it has been a nightmare trying to get my deposit back.
It has now been three months since I vacated the property. I left the room and all communal areas in a deep-cleaned, excellent condition, yet my deposit has still not been returned. When I contacted the agency for help, the now **Ex-Exployee** (Ayaz) washed their hands of the situation and told me plainly that "it is not their responsibility" to ensure the landlord returns the deposit.

Really really bad
Really, really bad, as in it doesn’t get worse on this. I’ve only had the displeasure of speaking with these guys for 24 hours and I can see how bad they are.
I called and spoken about a one bedroom flat they had listed, I’ve had it in writing, email and over the phone confirm that this is a one bedroom flat, I’ve told them that I’ll be coming out of town to come and see this property which is going to take several hours and cost a large amount of money so it is important that it is absolutely correct and that is a one bedroom flat and not a shared property.
The plethora of confirmation I had from them stating it is definitely a one bedroom flat.
Have a guess what happens next… that’s right it is a shared property.
I was then sent over WhatsApp a meeting conversation for a Miss Renne (not me at all), and the most sporadic answers to any of my questions and the most broken English I’ve seen possible.
I’m all for and understanding the English may be a second language but when you’re dealing in the property sector in central London where communication is key, and understanding of the language of the highest level is required for contractual purposes, the three agents I spoke with all had very very poor English.
Oh, and all their pictures on the website are AI generated.

I recommend Home World Management Ltd in particular Mubeen who was proactive in finding suitable tenants for our double rooms ,advertising and speaking to potential tenants and explaining to them the importance of credit referencing to give peace of mind to me as a landlord that I am entering into agreements with the right tenants. He also completed the right to rent checks on identified tenants in line with legal requirements. He communicated very well with myself and potential tenants and Is willing to assist. This was a cost effective service that I recommend to other landlords who needs assistance to find suitable tenants for their accommodation

They break the law
I enquired about a property. I stated that I am disabled and my income is supported by disability benefits. They then went cold, the conversation ended very abruptly. When I enquired about viewing the property they said "someone will be in touch" I got this answer for 5 days before I was told through a private phone call that they "don't rent to people like You" meaning they dont rent to people on disability benefits. I cannot help my condition. I didnt choose it and I certainly don't want to be in this position. It's people like this company that are gonna push disabled people onto the streets. All this for a DOUBLE ROOM!! NOT EVEN A FLAT OR HOUSE. A ROOM. Well thankfully I have a law degree (I failed to mention to them) and I know many people on the right places. Home Management Ltd break the law and you should avoid.
