Matthew phoned at exactly the time arranged and the conversation was one of the most helpful I have had to date in clarifying my options. He listened carefully as I outlined my situation, didn't rush things and his questions showed that he fully understood my position and concerns. His advice has allowed me to move forward knowing that I'm on the right track which is a huge relief and at no time did he try to force me to go in any particular direction. Following an arduous six months in 2024 of abortive sales, unsuitable viewings and general disappointment I booked a call with HSE on a bit of a whim after a quick online search for strategies to sell an unsellable house. The conversation that followed with Matt felt honest, sympathetic to my situation, and - crucially - assuring about a path forward with a proper strategy and an outcome that would be entirely driven my needs, not those of an estate agent. My "then" estate agent locked me into a notice period until October, but I'd given Matt the go-ahead anyway, and we re-launched the property in October accordingly. Fast forward to January and a very positive viewing, and suddenly the team had secured an offer. We completed last week, just eight weeks on, and I couldn’t be happier with the outcome and the way in which the entire process has played out.

I would not hesitate in recommending HSE to anyone who is either already struggling to sell their property or who would like a more "hands off" and less stressful experience - this aspect, for me, proved invaluable in allowing me to keep doing my job without considerable disruption as well as everything being kept on track without me personally needing to chase people or worry about forgetting key dates, etc.

He kept his word and sold our property in double quick time- and at a good price. My wife and l were delighted to move on so soon. Matt at the Home Selling Expert was super helpful! I read a lot of the articles on line and then initially enquired as we were considering auctioning and I wanted to know if traditional or modern was best for us. He talked me through these two options but also so many other options incase we hadn't considered. He shared some very helpful material.
